Loved it! Spacious, clean, in the perfect area

September 2023 - My parents and I absolutely loved it. It was spacious, clean, in the perfect area and the climb up was the perfect exercise - even for my senior parents!

It provided everything we needed and Summer In Italy also assisted us in organizing private shuttle from Napoli!

I would highly recommend and the price was worth it!

Lovely location with easy access to central Positano

June 2023 - Lovely location with easy access to central Positano and all the shops and restaurants. Only 134 stairs to the villa, which is actually less than they state. So that was a welcome surprise. And we had porters deliver our luggage (and the price is actually quite cheap) from the ferry.

Really a very pleasant stay! I do recommend this location and the hosts. Very nice and responsive!

I like this company. Everyone is so responsive and so doggone friendly. Thanks for answering all my questions in the months prior! Oh, and my family loved the several-page write-up you send out after I booked it. It was humorous yet informative!

Excellent

June 2023 - I absolutely loved our stay! Very easy check in. The owner texted us while we were on our way and met us downstairs at our shuttle drop off location which was about 2 minutes away.

There’s 150 stairs to get to the house which sounds like a lot but compared the other places it actually isn’t bad at all! If you’re staying anywhere in Positano be prepared to walk!!! The house was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for my needs! Perfect location, fabulous terrace with amazing views

April 2023 - I very much enjoyed my stay at Casa Ginepro. Located at the center of Positano within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. As a solo traveler the apartment was perfect for my needs and I felt safe at all times. There is room for 3 adults to stay comfortably. The terrace was fabulous with amazing views! There is a pretty well stocked kitchen (if you decide to cook). There are a number of steps (150 to be exact) leading up to the apartment but not surprising for Positano. There are landings at various locations along the stairs to enjoy the view and catch your breath. Sitting on the terrace makes the walk all the more special.

Luca and his entire staff at Summer In Italy are THE reason I rented Casa Ginepro. I would certainly contact them again if I travel to Italy again. I highly recommend without reservation.

Amazing location, incredible view and terrace

September 2022 - We really enjoyed our stay at Luca’s place. It was located in the center of Positano. It was very roomy for 3 adults, and the views were amazing! The terrace was incredible and also a life saver as unfortunately it rained our whole time in Positano. Having that huge covered terrace to sit on and drink wine and enjoy food while watching the storm was a lifesaver.

There are a number of steps to get to the apartment but for Positano, it’s really nothing at all. You don’t get those views without a little work. We were super disappointed that because of the rain, our trip to Capri and our beach day were cancelled but luckily we had a spacious, clean apartment with phenomenal views to stay in. So happy I chose this place and would definitely recommend.

Wonderful, would stay again

September 2022 - Everything was wonderful!

Our host communicated really well with us and answered our questions.

The veranda was lovely and we had a great view. Also, there was a washing machine, drying rack and iron which we really appreciated. We would stay here again!

Fantastic location, really nice view from the balcony

June 2022 - Yes, we enjoyed it very much. Location is fantastic, very close to our shuttle pick-up and drop-off point, which is surprising. Have really nice view from the balcony and there aren't too many steps - compared with a lot of properties in the area.

Price is reasonable for what the market is in Positano, everyone I've dealt with are very pleasant and friendly, easy to be contacted. Reservation voucher that was sent to my email was also useful.

It was a great place to stay!

May 2022 - The location was close to town (you did have to walk up a lot of stairs but that's just all of Positano!) and very private. The apartment had everything we needed and was well kept. The balcony was great and had a wonderful view.

If you're traveling from Naples I would suggest the ferry Vs taking a bus and train. A little more expensive but so worth it.

September 2021 - Lovely, clean apartment with a gorgeous view from the balcony. Check-in was so simple and great communication from the hosts.

There’s a lot of steps up to the apartment itself but that’s to be expected in Positano so we didn’t mind. The location was also very central.

Amazing view, would return

September 2019 - The view was absolutely amazing! We loved staying there and would return again!

Our only regrets would be to have used the luggage porter service because it was a long hike up to the apartment. Other than that, the place was dreamy!

Outstanding location and view of Positano

July 2019 - Outstanding location and view of Positano. It is quite a trek to the unit once you reach the gate, but everything is that way.

The unit is in a quiet pretty setting and once inside very private. The East facing terrace was perfect for end of the day relaxing and perfect for a quick breakfast to start the day. The kitchen was well stocked. We used the laundry machine that worked flawlessly. The air conditioning was welcome after a long day on the beach, hiking or taking the many Positano steps.

We would recommend this unit and the property management company.

Summer In Italy was very responsive to any request for information from us and flexible on check-in and check-out times. We would recommend them.

Exactly as per the photos

April 2019 - The property is exactly as per the photos and a very comfortable little home for my husband and I. We stayed in Positano for 6 nights, so it was great to have some private space to relax and even cook the odd meal.

The balcony is fantastic! We spent many afternoons enjoying the sun until the crowded tourist filled streets calmed down.

The property is in a great location and yes there’s steps... but that’s the beauty of the Amalfi Coast.

We loved Casa Ginepro

April 2019 - We loved Casa Ginepro. The location was excellent for us -- very close to the centre of town. We liked the apartment for the bright, lovely decor and the fabulous terrace. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. It was nice to have a kitchen with basic cooking equipment.

This was the cutest most authentic apartment. My husband and I adored it!

October 2018 - This was the cutest most authentic apartment. My husband and I adored it! The terrace had an incredible view. There were several steps to get up to Casa Ginepro but if you are visiting Positano there are steps everywhere you go - you can’t avoid them. The steps are part of the charm.

The location was the best part. Walking distance to anywhere you want to go - under 8 minutes to get to the square, the beach, super market, etc. Also the bus stop is right at the entrance of the apartment which is nice - we never took the bus because we were so close to everything and enjoyed the scenic walks. This was a great value for what you get! Highly recommend. Ciao!

Absolutely amazing

September 2018 - Casa Ginepro is absolutely amazing; a beautiful, clean, and cozy apartment. Everything was beyond expectations. We loved everything there, but the terrace is especially to die for! Sitting on the terrace (especially in the evening with the glass of wine) and looking at the beautiful surrounding cliffs was like paradise. The apartment is located in a cute and quiet gated community. Getting up to the unit required walking up a lot of stairs, but there are a lot of beautiful trees and flowers along the way. Fantastic location, walking distance to beaches (7-10 min walk). We loved Casa Ginepro so much, it was the highlight of our stay in Positano. The next time we visit Positano we will definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

Check-in was very easy with the check-in girl, Rossana. She was very nice and even helped us with our bags.

Summer In Italy is the best site I have ever used for trip planning. Their service and professionalism is great, and they are very quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Their newsletters are also very helpful. Will definitely use the site again in planning my next trip to Italy, and I recommend it to all of my friends. Great location

July 2018 - Casa Ginepro has a great location. We could walk to everything in Positano in under 15 minutes.

The house is small and cute. Should fit up to 3 people comfortably. Basic amenities like towels are provided, bring your own toiletries. One thing that could be better is if the house had salt, pepper and olive oil, in case guests decided to cook breakfast. All in all, we would stay there again!

May 2018 - Excellent house! As advertised and better than expected. Spacious terrace for lounging and meals. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need.

Very easy check-in and gracious host. The host helped us with our bags and provided a very reasonable car park with a discount which is a must if you have a car in Positano.

October 2017 - We couldn't have been happier choosing Casa Ginepro as our base in Positano.

It is centrally located, close to shopping, beach and restaurants. The house itself is very clean and cozy, the bed comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for cooking. It comes highly recommended!

It was perfect!

October 2017 - It was perfect! When we are on vacation we barely spend any time in our room so all we really needed was a clean place to lay our heads at night and home base. It was great having a terrace to sit down and have a drink. The location was great we walked everywhere and the stairs were never an issue for us.

We loved our stay - would highly recommend to anyone who just needs something clean and convenient while they explore!

There are quite a few steps to get up to the property so we wouldn't bring such large suitcases next time. But this shouldn't put anyone off from staying - everywhere in Positano has steps!

Quiet location

October 2016 - Casa Ginepro is a very good house in a quiet location. The house is very clean and decorated with taste. Around the house you can find good shops, restaurants and places for having breakfast. Once you have climbed the about 150 steps, you will have a quiet place to stay in Positano -- that is not always possible in other locations of the village.
