Fantastic

July 2015 - We had a wonderful relaxing holiday at Casa Genziana B. The apartment was exactly as described, comfortable and well equipped. The pool and gardens were breath-taking and beautifully maintained.

Michela, our host was helpful but unobtrusive and she made sure we had everything we needed.

This is our second holiday experience with Summer In Italy and we would highly recommend you to friends and family. Every query was promptly dealt with and your customer service is outstanding. Keep up the great work!

April 2011 - Case Genziana B was a beautiful apartment. Everything about our stay was fantastic.

Ms Michela [the owner] could not have been nicer and even loaned me her flat iron for the week when mine was fried on our first day in Italy.

The grounds were beautiful. The pool was not yet open, (it was only April), but the ping pong table was enjoyed by my whole family. The hot tub had just arrived and unfortunately wasn't able to be opened until the day we left, but it looked fabulous! The outside terrace areas and common space were beautiful and we even cooked out on the grill for a few meals.

It was a longer commute to some of the more popular towns, but was conveniently located to the highway and local roads.

Our stay was very memorable.

July 2008 - It was a wonderful experience, fantastic surroundings, very peaceful, very well equipped and very helpful and friendly landlords.

The kitchen was a bit small, especially the refrigerator! We could barely fit in a day's worth of groceries - bare in mind that 5 people consume quite a lot! But overall a wonderful experience; we'd like to come back some day and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Everything was wonderful, thank you Summer In Italy. The many pages you provided with description of Italian life style and cultural differences are a good idea, we think, because you're right - some people forget that not everything is as it is back home.

August 2006 - Casa Genziana B is a beautiful villa in a great location in the middle of Tuscany. It is located on a quiet road in a very attractive oak forest with easy access by car to many of the wonderful hill top villages and bigger cities including Siena and Florence.

The villa is designed well to minimise awareness of other guests and facilities such as car parking, swimming pool gardens and BBQ are exceptional.

Highly recommended for a holiday as relaxing or as busy as you like. The owners are very helpful and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We can see why they enjoy regular repeat bookings.

July 2006 - Luxurious villa and exceptional garden with a amenities, wardrobe, etc...

Very nice pool and lawn, as well the BBQ with pizza oven were used a few times.

Close to Montalcino, Chianti and Siena. Location helps take easily the A1 to drive south to Rome (2.5 hours).

October 2005 - We enjoyed our stay at Casa Genziana B very much.

The owner (Michela) was willing to work with us for a later in the week arrival. Although we were only able to stay for four of the seven days we paid for, we felt it was still good value for our money.

Michela's English was excellent making communication very easy. The weather was cool and rainy (October) which kept us from spending time outdoors. Despite this, the grounds and view were lovely and we enjoyed the environment. Visiting off-season, we had the entire property to ourselves except for one day.

This farmhouse has a washing machine and dryer available for common use. This was very convenient.

Casa Genziana B's decor was charming as well as practical. Everything we could want in terms of kitchen equipment or furnishings was provided. And our teenaged daughter appreciated having her own private room.

We felt the property was very true to the way it was advertised and enjoyed our stay.

July 2005 - This was a wonderful place to explore eastern Tuscany/West Umbria from.

We hit an unusual heat wave (38-40C) while we there, so the large pool was very much appreciated.

The property grounds are beautiful, and although it is close to the highway, it is a very quiet location. It was a very handy base to daytrip from.

Other guests at the property seemed happy just to stay on the property as well.

We were there in prime season, and the building is very nicely done.

As there were many people there (some units had more than one car and/or visitors from other places stopping by), when you came home late you sometimes could not park in the primary parking area (space for 5 cars).

With that being said, I would come back to this property again. It is beautiful and a nice place to rest and/or use as a base for exploring the region.

July 2005 - We had a wonderful time at Casa Genziana B. It is centrally located in Tuscany, so that there are easy drives to the major towns.

The charm of this completely restored farmhouse is that you have the wonderful rural athmosphere of a Tuscan vacation house, yet all of the modern amenities if you desire them like satelite TV and internet access if you want them.

The owners are very helpful, reachable (they speak english very well), yet not intrusive.

This is a great vacation house - we will be certain to recommend it to our friends!

June 2005 - Casa Genziana B was a beautiful place to stay.

We had plenty of room for the four of us. We cooked meals and spent the mornings with coffee overlooking the country side.

The location of this villa allowed us short drives to many of the places to see on our list.

Our hostess, Michela was instrumental in helping us find our way around the Tuscany area. She is delightful.

October 2004 - Casa Genziana B was wonderful! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Our apartment was very well equipped, very clean, spacious and nicely laid out for our needs. The owner, Michela, was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. She was always available for us and responded promptly if we needed anything (which wasn't very much!).

The villa buildings, gardens and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The gardener (Fredo) was on sight daily maintaining the beauty of the gardens, but was never in our way. I hope we weren't in his way...

I have already, and would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Tuscany. The location is ideal for resting in the peaceful countryside, or a base for day or weekend trips elsewhere.
