We enjoyed it very much

October 2018 - We enjoyed Casa Frutteto A very much, it was very cozy and relaxed and the swimming pool and hot tub was a great feature. The patio with the fire barbecue was a great family spot. It felt like home.

Paola [the owner] was wonderful, she was very helpful and had some items for breakfast for us when we arrived in case we didn't have time to go to the store.

Everyone at Summer In Italy was wonderful. My questions were answered quickly and to my satisfaction. They were a pleasure to deal with.

Travel tips

  • You really need to have a car as there are so many nearby towns to explore.
  • Martina Franca is so beautiful and you have to eat at Osteria del Coco Pazzo, da Stefano. It's a must.

Fantastic!

October 2016 - Casa Frutteto A was fantastic! We have rented many places in Italy and this stood out for many reasons:

- huge interior, great kitchen;

- everything worked: Internet, heated floors (we were there when it was cold), appliances;

- beautiful terrace and outdoor areas; gorgeous plants and fields. Ideal for sharing with another couple. We grilled one night -- lovely;

- quiet except for an occasional dog barking or a rooster crowing;

- best for people who like to have a few meals at home, as it's a 15-20 minute drive to town. We got used to driving home in the dark, but one must be careful with how much wine one drinks with dinner!

- great value for the price.

Summer In Italy was very professional and attentive.

Travel tips

  • I would add Restaurant PerBacco to the list of restaurants in Locorotondo.
  • We had a great day trip to Torre Canne with a lovely lunch at Restaurant Il Punto.
  • Probably best off season, which is when we were there, in early October.

  • Rosa's cooking demonstration is a must do!

July 2015 - A stunning property where the owner has thought of everything. We could not have enjoyed staying here more.

Casa Frutteto is a beautiful place to spend a holiday and we would highly recommend this property. We would also thank you to Paola (who managed the property). She went beyond the call of duty and we look forward to returning some day... soon!

Travel tips

  • A car is essential for sightseeing and even shopping. However, the property is a truly enjoyable haven and somewhere where you could happily spend time without travelling too far.
