Better than in the description

August 2023 - We had a pleasant stay. The location in the hills of Castelfiorentino was very nice

. We stayed with kids, so to have two bathrooms and enough space was very nice. There was also possibility to sit outside and enjoy the view. We had two ceiling fans (living room and one bedroom), some, not all rooms had mosquito nets. So you could open the windows at night. So, having no climate control was not an issue.

Pool was very nice and a good opportunity to meet other guests and exchange travel experiences.

Directly beside is a small restaurant. Driving to Castelfiorentino you'll find supermarkets, cafés, etc.

The location sits optimal in between Tuscany and within half/one hour you can reach Pisa, Lucca, Vinci, Florence, Volterra, Siena - super optimal.

In total, the venue was way better then in the description!

Travel tips

  • Small Restaurant directly beside (more like a tapas bar, reduced menu). Very chilled and relaxed area. Lots of Italians there. Nice to sit and enjoy life.
  • In town (5-10 minutes by car) is restaurant Borgo alla Vigna. Very, very good food. Nice to sit as well.
  • Lidl supermarket available with bread, croissants in the morning. Coop supermarket also available.
