Travel tips
- There is a supermarket within easy walking distance.
- The town with its shops and cafes is only a couple of minutes by car.
- Venture 20 mins by car to San Gimignano or drive to Castelfiorentino and take the train to Florence (don't bother taking the car as we did - parking is a nightmare!)

October 2010 - Everything was good and we enjoyed our stay.
The person in the reception was extremely helpful, provided some useful information about the area and fixed the broken shower head as soon as we told him we had a problem with that.
My only criticism would be that the apartment was not overly clean - e.g. it looked like the windows have not been touched for months. Otherwise we had no complaints!
It was a pleasure to book Casa Bonaventura C with Summer in Italy. Very helpful, friendly and informed staff made it all easy and straightforward.
Travel tips
- The car is essential: the only restaurant in a relatively short walking distance is about 0.5 km away and you need to walk along the road in the dark. There are two supermarkets nearby and Montaione has some pubs and restaurants.
- The location is good if your intention is to travel around Tuscany - it's from an hour to hour and a half drive away from Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano or Siena. There is not a great deal to do around Casa Ramona itself.

The hedges had grown so high the views were blocked, but that was minor.
Travel tips
- There is an incredible restaurant down hill about 4 km, just before a bridge on the left side. I believe it is called Restaurant Casa Masi. The best meal of my long life!!!!

September 2010 - We had a very good experience at Casa Bonaventura C.
Everything was clean and in good condition and the view was great.
The fresh garden vegetables were delicious and the management was informative and very helpful.
Summer in Italy was helpful and the directions to the villa were easy to follow.
Travel tips
- The only negative was the Restaurant Il Caminetto, in Mura. The food was very good but the service was not. The waitresses were not very pleasant.

- There were an adequate number of restaurants to eat out at during our stay.
- You definitely need a car for transport.
- The walk up the hill to the village is very steep.

September 2006 - The family that cared for us was wonderful! We had difficulty with our luggage due to poor airline choices. Simone [the owner] was more than accomodating and very helpful. He made a very tense and tiring situation bearable.
The grounds were lovely, the housing was clean and spacious for two couples.
