Excellent
January 2009 - The location was very convenient. We were able to get around very easily. We enjoyed our stay in Italy tremendously.
I felt very pleased with the service. I received extremely friendly emails while traveling to give me tips where to keep my luggage since we arrived so early. Thank you, thank you!!
Travel tips
- The location of Casa Antonino is excellent. The grocery store is just a two minute walk and has everything you need. The train station is a five minute walk and made getting to the airport a breeze.
- We had to leave the apartment at 5 A.M., but were able to catch a taxi at the train station that early. We also arrived very early into town and the staff at Summer in Italy suggested we leave our luggage at the station until we could check in.

May 2008 - We liked the location of the apartment very much as it was conveniently located a few minutes walk away from the San Lorenzo market and Mercato Centrale where we went almost every day, as well as the train station and major attractions in Florence.
The apartment was nicely furnished, neat and clean, and the fully equipped kitchen was very useful. There was lots of space for us to store our clothes and other items, and we were also happy to have a washing machine.
Some of the negatives were that because we were so close to the market, the street became noisy very early in the morning as the market vendors came and went. Also, the bed was not comfortable (it had no springs so that the mattress fell inward when one lay down on it). There was no shelf in the shower to put soap, shampoo, etc., so we had to leave such items on a shelf outside and had to keep opening the shower door to get them as needed, while trying not to splash water outside.
But those were not big things and we greatly enjoyed our stay in Florence and at Casa Antonino. We hope to visit Florence again some day.
We were very pleased with our experience with Summer in Italy. All our questions and requests were answered promptly and everyone we emailed was very helpful. We came across your business just by doing a search on the Internet and we will definitely contact you again the next time we plan a trip to Italy.
Travel tips
- The location of the apartment is very good, close to the San Lorenzo market, Duomo, Piazza della Repubblica, train station (very convenient for day trips to other towns and cities), as well as restaurants and shopping.
Unfortunately, Casa Antonino can not be booked at this time.
We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
