  • The closest supermarket is located in Castelnuovo Berardenga but it is not very big. A bigger one is located in Taverne d'Arbia.

We loved our stay

July 2018 - We loved our stay. It is exactly what I was looking for when planning our first trip to Italy. I hope to return again for a longer stay. I cannot state how beautifully simple the property and accommodations were.

We enjoyed 2 delicious dinners at the outdoor restaurant where they served olive oil and wine from the property. We cooked dinner in the apartment one night then moved to the outdoor patio at the restaurant with a bottle of wine and took time to talk while appreciating the peaceful atmosphere.

The owners made us feel so welcome. The owners went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. Small gestures such as sending a cup of coffee to my room while my family was having breakfast and I was wrapping up packing, taking my husband and brother in law to the wine cellar and just the overall feeling that we were welcome.

Travel tips

  • Be aware that this property requires travel but it is well worth it!
  • If you need something that is not readily available, just ask.
