Quiet and well located.

April 2019 - The place is wonderful, quiet and well located to allow for many excursions of great interest all at a reasonable distance. The unit G is well appointed and the kitchen is satisfactorily equipped to satisfy guests who like to cook like me.

We enjoyed the help of the owners as well. We have no complaints, on the contrary to every inquiry of mine there was an immediate response. Thank you.

Travel tips

  • Great restaurants nearby, such as Alla Corte di Bacco in Ambra, Locanda Casaricci in San Leonino etc.
  • Well located to visit the Chianti region and feast at such places as Badia a Coltibuono and Castello Brolio. Of course one can include San Gimignano, Arezzo, Perugia, the most wonderful village of Anghiari and of course Firenze where if one wants can be reached by train in 1 hour.

July 2008 - We loved staying at Borgo Bello G. It exceeded our expectations. The accommodations, grounds, and staff, were perfect.

We stayed with 2 other couples and everyone had more than enough room. In addition, guests could have a home-cooked breakfast in the dining room, as well as an exceptional dinner on the main patio. The food was delicious and the cost was well priced.

There was a pool on the premises which was also lovely.

The owner, as well as their daughters, were very friendly and helpful.

We cannot recommend Summer In Italy more highly. You were there answering all of our questions whether it concerned the rental property or travel arrangements. The newsletter was also awesome. It helped us to know what to expect while visiting Italy. I was able to plan all of our day trips using information from this newsworthy letter.

Anyone visiting Borgo Bello is lucky.

The owners and staff were helpful and lovely.

The property is beautiful.

The location was average but that is only because the town of Bucine does not have much to offer. The views were beautiful.

I liked having the other guests, the office and options for dining on property.
