July 2013 - Our apartment was spacious, well appointed, and very tastefully decorated. It was definitely one of the nicest rental properties we have ever stayed at.

The front desk is an added bonus: Teresa [the caretaker] provided us with great restaurant recommendations and took care of our reservations for the Florence museums and other sights, so we were able to avoid the long lines. We also liked the fact that we had the option to have breakfast and dinner in the common dining room (reservations required), which was an especially nice option to have immediately after our arrival.

We were very pleased with your services from the billing, to clear directions to the property as well as taking care of dinner reservations. Emily replied to all of our questions promptly.

Travel tips

  • My two daughters and I attended the cooking class taught by Antonella, one of the owner's daughters, at the castle. The rest of our family was able to join us for dinner in the castle's dining room after our class. What a treat!
  • The property is located in the middle of vineyards and olive trees, about 10 minutes from Bucine, which is the closest little town. We really enjoyed the views of the countryside and the peacefulness.
