April 2015 - Appartamento Reginaldo G was wonderful!

There was tons of room to stretch out, both outside and inside. It was a perfect Italian countryside apartment.

The view of San Gimignano was amazing, our hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the privacy was great!

I would definitely stay there again.

I liked Summer In Italy website and service, very easy to use and good communication. Nothing I can think of to improve.

Travel tips

  • Make sure to take the walk into San Gimignano - it's good exercise but short enough so you are not too tired to shop, and very scenic!
  • Ask Anita [the caretaker] about the local restaurants, she recommended some that were outstanding.

July 2011 - This apartment, its views and location were outstanding! The service we received was excellent and we had a very relaxing time in Tuscany.

The pool area is even more beautiful than the photos and the restaurant coming into the area was wonderful when we did not feel like cooking.

Although some commented that the shower was very small, I found it fine and my husband and I are both large people.

I cannot imagine a more relaxing or beautiful place to stay and can guarantee that few would be disappointed by their experience at Reginaldo G.

Travel tips

  • The restaurant nearby on the way into the area is outstanding.
  • We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the towns in Tuscany. I would recommend going to Siena on Wednesday morning for the market that sells anything and everything. Great deals on shoes! Just make sure you park near the castello or you will have a long walk through town.
  • San Gimignano was also a favourite and make sure to see it at night as well as during the day.

May 2010 - Appartamento Reginaldo G was excellent in all respects, except for the bathroom that I found average. The only thing was the little shower, and we were not overweight. The shower was very small,. but we are used to this when traveling thru Europe. I just can't imagine any women larger than a size 12 able to move!

Otherwise the apartment was super modern, yet homey, clean, views to die for and nice to come home after a day of sightseeing!!!

This is my second summer rental with you, and I love singing your praises to anyone who will listen!

Travel tips

  • It's so close to San Gimignano that you could walk a back way (half an hour easy) or take a quick 5 minute car ride.
  • Nice base in Tuscany, as close to or far away from where you want to go.
  • Had the best meals in Italy (twice) in a restaurant in San Gimignano called Trattoria Chiribiri. Simple and inexpensive, small and charming. The girls all loved it. I know it's mentioned in lots of guide books, so it's mostly tourists, but we so enjoyed it. Also nice it is open non-stop from 11.30-23.30, which was nice as we never seemed to get anywhere in time for lunch!
