July 2015 - We enjoyed our stay at Appartamento Plinia F very much.
It is very clean and very well-stocked. It has everything we need. Also, the location is perfect... A few steps away from Piazza Tasso, the main piazza in Sorrento.
We couldn't be happier with the apartment.
The booking process was very smooth and easy. Staff in Summer In Italy is very professional and ready to answer any question, which makes the whole experience more enjoyable. I will definitely use the agency again in the future.

May 2014 - Appartamento Plinia F is a fantastic apartment, situated right in the bustling heart of Sorrento. Because of its location it's not the quietest place to stay but we enjoyed being in the thick of it and really didn't mind.
The apartment felt very secure and was very comfortable, with everything you need to get by. The bed was also very comfortable, despite being quite firm. Huge balcony with great views over the town and which also gets plenty of sun.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment, it was perfect for our stay in Sorrento, and we would happily stay there again and highly recommend it.
We were very impressed with Summer In Italy. Whatever queries we had were replied to very quickly. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the whole booking experience made me confident that the apartment would be good and that we would enjoy our holiday, both of which were proved to be true. Everyone speaks excellent English and we were given lots of information long before the holiday which proved very useful.
This was our first holiday in Italy but we will certainly book with Summer In Italy for our next trip, which will hopefully be soon!
Travel tips
- I would recommend, if possible, if flying to Naples to get a daytime flight. We arrived after 10 pm and all the buses and trains to Sorrento had stopped running so we had to pay £80 for a taxi. This was after arranging it in advance, a taxi straight from the airport not pre-booked would have been at least double. A train or bus (of which there are plenty in the day) would have been a fraction of the cost and the apartment is easily in walking distance of the station.

May 2014 - We enjoyed our stay at Appartmento Plinia F. Spacious and well appointed. Great terrace and location, which were the deciding factors for our choice of accommodation.
It was a short walk to all amenities, and a pleasant 10 to 15 minute walk to Port for hydrofoil to Capri. Check in went smoothly.
Only of 1 of 3 nights experienced some street noise, which is to be expected for such a central position. Sorrento is a lovely town, and we would stay at Appartamento Plinia F if we are down this way again.
We chose Summer in Italy, simply because they were able to provide the accommodation which met all our criteria for a reasonable price. Provided an excellent service, communication, information and back up. Very professional.
Travel tips
- Had an excellent Margherita pizza at the restaurant with the garden terrace on the first floor. It was in old part of Sorrento, but unfortunately do not have the name.
- We also used private transfer service of Sorrento House Travel for our various transfers. Gaetano and Carlo were very informative, warm and friendly, spoke excellent English and provided an excellent service.
Unfortunately, Appartamento Plinia F can not be booked at this time.
