What a beautiful place on Earth
May 2023 - We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. A breathtaking view, the patio speaks for itself.
Ambra [the owner] and her mother were amazing. We loved the many recommendations they had to offer for shopping and foods. You have to check out their family store, I got the cutest outfit. It caught my eye before I even realized what store we were in!
An absolute beautiful place on earth and would stay again if we ever find ourselves back here!!

Stunning view day and night!

Our hosts were very welcoming and quickly responded to anything we needed.
Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to the Positano Interno bus loop to make getting around town very easy. Would highly recommend.

October 2022 - This is the best view in positano! We spent our mornings and evenings on the amazing patio overlooking the town of Positano and the ocean!
The hospitality of Ivan, Ambra and the entire family was absolutely incredible! They went above and beyond to make our stay incredible! They also have a linen shop in town and the linen of the highest quality! I am so happy to take some gifts home for family, friends, and myself!

August 2022 - Casa Mastro Paolina was incredible! Beautiful, spacious, just as pictured and the view is breathtaking!
The owner met us for check in and it was very simple to transfer our luggage since there was an elevator. Just up the hill from the city center and the main beach.
We absolutely loved our stay and recommend this place to anyone looking!!
Travel tips
- The stairs down were easy to navigate and my boyfriend and I really grew to enjoy our walk down to the beach everyday. We stopped every day at La Zagara for pastries, drinks, and pizza.
- The stairs back up can be tiring, but there is a local bus that runs every 30 minutes and brings you near to the apartment. It is only about a 10 minute ride.

An amazing base for our visit.
July 2022 - Casa Mastro Paolina was an amazing base for our visit to Positano. The space had all we needed and a new coffee maker even arrived while we were there. The views from the patio were to die for.
Ambra [the owner] greeted us and provided a wealth of information recommendations and the most important thing a great foot map of Positano which was our bible for the next 2 days. We enjoyed every moment of Positano. Thank you!!

Great place to relax and unwind, with spectacular views
June 2022 - Casa Mastro Paolina was a great place to relax and unwind, with spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast and the town of Positano in a quiet area at the top of Positano.
This unit is clean, comfortable and just the right size for a couple. The kitchen is really a mini kitchenette. In addition to the large terrace accessible from the unit, there is also a shaded terrace under the trees adjacent the unit with a small bistro table perfect for al fresco dining and 2 lounge/sun chairs.
Ivan, the owner, met us at the arrival, showed us how things worked and provided tips about transportation, shopping and restaurants.
Travel tips
- Be sure to spend some time at the apartment just relaxing and soaking in the views. Positano can be busy with day tripping tourist, so enjoy this heaven above the fray!
- Be aware that walking into town and back requires traversing many, many stairs both ways or walking along a winding, narrow, busy road. Taxi service is expensive at 25 Euro each way. The bus stop is nearby, down one flight of stairs and inexpensive 1.80 Euro. Bus rides back up from the beach area can be very crowded in the late afternoons and evenings. Bring walking shoes!
- Unlike many apartments, you can be dropped off with your luggage at the garage level and take an elevator up to the unit. We saw many people dragging their suitcases up and down stairs to access their lodging!

High above the crowd
June 2022 - Casa Mastro Paolina is really outstanding! High above the crowd and noisy central part.
Really appreciate it has a lift if you don't want to go up 4 flights of stairs. The views are magnificent from the terrace.

- Easy to get too by the blue local bus to Montepertuso but it can be crowded especially with bags. Consider taking a taxi there on your first night.
- Very close to the SITA bus stop that goes to Sorrento or Amalfi

May 2022 - This home offers great views and is very comfortable. Your hosts are quick to respond and have very helpful advice. This home is a great value. It is at the top of Positano so be prepared for stairs. We rented a scooter for the 2nd half of our stay but it isn’t bad working off all the pasta on the stairs
. Overall we were very happy and would recommend anyone to stay here.
