Excellent

August 2010 - Strange mixture of hotel and apartment, some good points of both, some falling between stools.

Positives: views, friendly staff good, servicing of rooms, reasonable pool, space in apartments better than photos led us to think, away from crowds, cute genuine local village 10 mins away, benefit of own apartment with chance for kids to make friends.

Negatives: fixtures and fittings cheap and falling apart flush, curtains, blinds, cupboards not working, most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in, pool at weekend gets packed with locals and no regard for needs of residents, bit of a traipse from anywhere on mad roads.

If you are reading this deciding to book, probably look around elsewhere, if you have booked then don't worry it has many positives. Those views are amazing. Did see a couple of other apartments that we much better furnished than ours so maybe it's being renovated. Need a car (and valium) for getting about to anywhere. Sorrento 40 mins, Massa 25 mins (despite closeness on map).

Very happy with your service despite issues with apartment. would use Summer in Italy again, just not for here.

July 2009 - We had a good holiday and we enjoyed the villa. In particular, the staff were really helpful and super nice. I think the garden terrace sunblinds were in poor condition and difficult to unwind and pull down when the sun came out.

I think the kitchen utensils could probably have been better equipped but on the whole it was perfectly adequate and the staff were excellent. The pool was also well maintained.
