May 2015 - We had a lovely time in Appartamento Cerasella A. Quite clean condition, but there were a few maintenance and repair jobs required - specifically, the shower (blocked) and the kitchen. The awning also needed an overhaul, as tricky to operate (got stuck). The apartment needed some sprucing up in general, but we did have a very happy week there and would recommend the apartment and the site to anyone looking for a holiday for a reasonable price. Found the bed very hard, but we were warned that Italians do choose hard beds. The site was good, although the pool was too cold to use in May.

We think Summer In Italy are outstanding.

Travel tips

  • We loved visiting Pompeii - you need a whole day and good walking shoes to appreciate it. Just beware how many people want to sell you maps etc in Pompeii.
  • Capri is also well worth a whole day visit. In Capri everyone wants to be your courier/taxi driver.

June 2012 - Enjoyed our stay - apartment peaceful - lovely pool - Staff courteous and cheerful - very helpful and attended to all of our requests immediately, no request was too much trouble. Staff had good knowledge of the sights that needed to be seen and assisted us with sound advice upon how to see them - where to go and how to get there, willing to organise on our behalf.

The sunsets from the balcony were spectacular.

Very impressed with your prompt replies to all contacts/e-mails and we are very glad that we booked our holiday with you.

Travel tips

  • Restaurants in Sorrento worthy of visits and parking was easy to find.
  • Driving along the Amalfi coast road an experience and found best (but most expensive) parking after the town centre round the headland going out towards Salerno.
  • Positano a much more difficult proposition. Go early or go by boat.

September 2009 - If you are looking for a villa near Sorrento, this one is not convenient. If you are looking for a beautiful and serene location, this one is great.
