We loved it!

August 2018 - We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Appartamento Annarosa B. Excellent views and the perfect spot for a most relaxing and quiet holiday. The apartment is set up in the hills above what we consider the most sophisticated and beautiful spot of Praiano... We loved it! Perfect for quiet honeymooners although there is a Disco nearby too.

Great service! Our rep Pierluigi was fantastic! Nothing was too much for him.

Travel tips

  • There are some excellent restaurants with beautiful views nearby.
  • Although the beach is very small it is surrounding by a variety of restaurants. Our favourite one was Restaurant Franchino.
  • This is suitable for people who want to keep fit as there are lots of stairs to go through to access facilities. Not suitable if you don't like walking or climbing up stairs.

September 2017 - Appartamento Annarosa B was a wonderful place: quiet, clean and the view from the terrace is wonderful. The apartment was just like the photos and very clean too.

The caretaker was very nice, she gave us many good information and the communication was very pleasant. Everything was perfect.

If we come in Italy again, we will use Summer In Italy! We were very satisfied. We will also recommend you at our friends, your service is very effective and professional. Congratulations!

Travel tips

  • The little village of Praiano is charming with the beautiful church. It is a perfect place, quiet, beautiful and people who live there are very nice. We appreciated the walks into the village and discover nice places.
  • We recommend Praiano, so beautiful and located in a central point to visit the Amalfi Cost.
  • Tutto per Tutti grocery has everything that you need and they are also very helpful.
  • Our favorite restaurant was Il Pirata for the view, the service and the meal. The beach is fantastic.
  • We have been at Il Gusto della Costa to taste the Limoncello. Il was a pleasant visit.

August 2016 - My second visit to Praiano and Appartamento Annarosa B was a delight. Superb views from a huge balcony directly above the village beach.

Comfortable walking distance to the mini supermarket Tutto Per Tutti and Restaurant La Moressa where we ate/drank four times during the week.

Would happily return.

Travel tips

  • No particular advice for the apartment which is about 1 km from the town centre with the local bus outside Tutto Per Tutti but it is walkable, did it several times.
  • As with most locations in Praiano there are steps and more steps.
  • Ants were into any food left out but that's not a problem unique to the apartment.
  • Praiano itself is much smaller than Positano or Amalfi which is its great attraction to me but may not be to everyone's taste.
  • The outdoor terrace at Restaurant La Moressa was a brilliant setting for a meal.
  • We took a kayak excursion from Praiano beach to near Positano which I would recommend, bookable at the beach.

  • My advice is to bring great walking shoes. There are many steps but worth it. The best thing is with all those steps you can and drink as much as you want without gaining a pound.
  • We took a wonderful boat ride around Capri with Alfonso from Amalfi Charter Boat Rentals, fabulous. I would highly recommend this tour. I would give it five stars!

September 2013 - We LOVED this property. We might not have loved the hike out and in but that probably just made up for all the pasta we ate and the wine we drank. :) And, the website correctly describes the location so we were not surprised.

The view was spectacular. It was awesome to sit outside and see the sunrise in the mornings.

  • We loved Praiano. The little grocery store was great and a daily stop for us.

September 2013 - We liked this place a lot. First of all view from a huge terrace is amazing! Rooms are big enough. Two couples were living without any problems. Apartment is clean and seems new.

Very nice beach and local stores is as it was promised in 500 m but all the time steep downstairs and upstairs. We are young and not lazy and were even happy to train (and lose some weight maybe), however it could be difficult for couples with babies and for seniors.

We came by car and were surprised to know that we can't drive up to the house at least to unload the car. There is no road at all.

In general it is a very good place to stay. Beautiful surroundings, many taverns, location close to other famous sights.

Travel tips

  • We enjoyed day trip to Capri (from our beach). Especially because of the boat. There were two boats, "big" and our "small". "Small" was much better! We had a lot of fun jumping on the waves. Views during the trip were amazing!

October 2011 - We enjoyed our stay there but access was a bit difficult though correctly described by the agents.

Fortunata, the local contact, was extremely helpful and speaks excellent English.

We had problems with the hob (gas rings of cooker) which we thought needs servicing.

Terrace has a lovely view and the living room and bedrooms were comfortable.

Travel tips

  • Appartamento Annarosa B is a comfortable apartment with a lovely terrace and a fine view. However, access is difficult, as described in the brochure but not emphasized. Carrying heavy luggage to and away from the apartment would be difficult with a minimum of 150 steps plus some quite steep slopes.
  • We think one should definitely NOT have a car, not only because of possible parking problems near the Tutto per Tutti store but in the whole Amalfi area generally. The nearest parking is at Tutto per Tutti after which you have the above journey to the apartment.
  • You can get around the area very well by bus. Use the Flavio Gioia bus to go to Positano and the SITA bus for everywhere else. The SITA buses can be full and may not stop. To reach the SITA stop you walk from the apartment down 250 steps and then 200 metres along the coast road. SITA tickets from a tabaccheria and Flavio Gioia obtainable on the bus. Bus frequencies variable - get timetables off the internet.
  • Tutto per Tutti is quite a good store and the nearest one but is quite expensive.
  • If you like walking get the Sunflower Guide to the Sorrento coast. Walking is wonderful in this area.

  • Ant killer as they are a special breed, and you must keep worksurfaces clean (but we knew about this in advance). Not a problem more of an amusement.
  • Car parking is a nightmare.

July 2011 - Appartamento Annarosa B was the perfect holiday to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy the peace and quiet. If you enjoy making your own food, don't mind a bit of walking/stair-climbing, and enjoy privacy and peace and quiet, this is for you.

The view is absolutely stunning. The pictures do not do it justice.

The people of Praiano are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This was by far one of the best holidays I've had in a long time. I couldn't recommend it highly enough - 12 out of 10!

Travel tips

  • The property itself is a bit of a mission to get to if you don't have a scooter or car (quite a bit of walking involved), but worth the effort.
  • Next time I stay, I will pack light and hire a scooter in Praiano.
  • Our host for the property was very kind and helpful. She met us at the Tutti (the supermarket with AMAZING food) and then took us to the property. It can be reached by scooter fairly easily, but the pathways become more narrow as you get to the property, it can be a little difficult to turn the scooter around.
  • As for the property, we had one instance where the electricity turned off, but it was very easily fixed with a flick of a switch!
  • The rubbish is very different, they put out different things on different days at different times i.e. 10am-6pm. Just read the pamphlets in the apartment. They're very straight forward.
  • Please don't come here if you intend on being loud or want a restaurant around the corner from where you're staying. You're living with locals who live a very quiet life (you could hear a pin drop).
  • The Tutto per Tutti supermarket is amazing. They sell freshly grown local produce so it is extremely fresh. I cooked some of the best meals I've ever had at this apartment due to the quality of the food. You must try the buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes, to die for.

Unfortunately, Appartamento Annarosa B can not be booked at this time.
