Villa Palmarosa is a characteristic and welcoming three-story villa situated in a quiet location, a few minutes from the town center. It sleeps nine people. From Villa Palmarosa you will enjoy an enchanting view over the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius and of the sea. Villa Palmarosa is 250 square meters (2690 square feet). It features a private jacuzzi pool, private terraces, two private patios, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 4.3 km (2.7 miles) from the center of Sorrento, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the closest restaurant at 1.3 km (roughly 1400 yards), a grocery store at 3.8 km (roughly 2.4 miles), the stop for the EAV bus Piano - Sant'Agata line at 400 meters (1300 feet) and the closest beach (Marina Grande of Sorrento Beach) at 5.3 km (roughly 3.3 miles). You will reach Villa Palmarosa from the parking area going up approximately five stairway steps.
For a successful stay at Villa Palmarosa we recommend having a car. You will be able to park it free of charge on the premises. The parking space is suitable for up to four cars. Please note that access to Villa Palmarosa is along a narrow road. We recommend to bring a small car (the size of a Fiat Punto or smaller).
The first patio is 250 square meters (2690 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic porch and by a gazebo. It is equipped with small sofas and armchairs and with a table, chairs, deck chairs and sun loungers. Here you will also find a barbecue and a small wood-fired pizza oven. At your disposal there will be a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. From the patio you will enjoy a spectacular view over Sorrento, the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius and of the sea.
The second patio is 70 square meters (750 square feet) large. It features an above-ground heated jacuzzi pool with hydromassage with six seats. The jacuzzi pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of October. You will reach it from the first patio going down approximately 15 stairway steps. It is equipped with a sun umbrella, sun loungers and an external shower. From the patio you will enjoy a fascinating view of the sea and of the greenery.
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The furnishings include a sofa and two armchairs. There is an age-old fireplace, for decorative purposes only. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the first patio through two French doors.
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. The floor is paved with tiles with inlaid designs. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a kettle. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the first patio.
You will be able to enter the first bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed).
