Villa Orchidea, Panicale

Villa Orchidea is a welcoming apartment that is part of a villa surrounded by meadows and by green hills, in the border area between Umbria and Tuscany. It sleeps eight people. From Villa Orchidea you will enjoy a broad view of the surrounding countryside and of the hills. Villa Orchidea is 200 square meters (2150 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 3 km (1.8 miles) from the medieval village of Panicale, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find the closest beach (Castiglione del Lago beach) at 12 km (roughly 7.5 miles).

Villa Orchidea is located on the top floor. You will reach it from the parking area going up a stairway which consists of approximately 17 steps.

To stay at Villa Orchidea you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge on the premises. Please note that access to Villa Orchidea is along a narrow road.

The swimming pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 10 meters (33 feet) long, 1.6 meters (5.2 feet) deep. The area is equipped with sun loungers and an external shower, and it is partly shaded by two pergolas with bamboo roof. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the Umbrian countryside and of the hills. The pool is open from the beginning of June until the end of September.

The garden is 10000 square meters (108000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by wood roofs and by awnings. The garden is equipped with two small sofas, as well as with tables and chairs. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the surrounding countryside and of the hills.

The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling is sloped and has characteristic exposed wood beams and terracotta tiles. The furnishings are warm and welcoming. The furnishings include a sofa and an armchair. There is a big and age-old fireplace made of bricks. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. The room has two windows. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. It is equipped with a four-burner electric cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate four guests. The furnishings of the kitchen include a small sofa and a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The kitchen is also equipped with a satellite television (local channels). The kitchen has three windows, and is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
