Villa Rustica, San Gimignano

Villa Rustica is a welcoming villa in the characteristic style of the Tuscan countryside. It sleeps ten people. From Villa Rustica you will enjoy a charming view of the greenery and of the hills. Villa Rustica is 200 square meters (2150 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private patio, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 7 km (4.3 miles) from San Gimignano, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find the closest restaurant at 150 meters (490 feet). You will reach Villa Rustica from the parking area along a route that includes approximately two stairway steps.

To stay at Villa Rustica you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge inside the entrance gate. Please note that access to Villa Rustica is along a 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) unpaved road.

The swimming pool is 7 meters (23 feet) large by 14 meters (46 feet) long, from 1.20 meter (4 feet) to 2.40 meters (7.9 feet) deep. In order to use the swimming pool a bathing cap is required. The pool area is fenced. The area is equipped with sun loungers and an external shower, and it is partly shaded by an elegant gazebo and by trees. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the greenery and of the hills. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.

The patio is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by tall trees. It is equipped with a table, chairs and sun loungers. In the patio you will be able to have fun with a ping pong table. From the patio you will enjoy a charming view of the greenery.

The garden is 1500 square meters (16200 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by olive trees and by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof. The garden is equipped with armchairs, as well as with a table, chairs, sun loungers and a gazebo. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a wonderful view of the greenery and of the hills.

The living room is paved with Tuscan terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The furnishings include three sofas and an armchair. Here you will find a game table. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels) and a DVD player. From the living room you will be able to enter the patio through a French door. The room also has a high window.

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room through a brickwork arched opening. It is very well equipped, with a six-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and a kettle. There is also a brickwork barbecue and a small wood-fired pizza oven. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. From the kitchen two French doors will take you to the patio and the garden. The room also has two windows.

In the living room you will find an open mezzanine level, without door. You will be able to access it climbing 12 steps. The furnishings of the mezzanine include two armchairs and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams.

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a bedroom chair. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the patio through a French door. The room also has a window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The room also has a window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the third bedroom through a corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a desk. The room also has a window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the fourth bedroom from the corridor climbing four steps. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The room also has a small window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

The first bathroom is spacious and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a bathtub with shower wand and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom through a corridor.

The second bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom through a corridor.
