Casa Cosma, Catania

Casa Cosma is a welcoming apartment situated in a central location, at a short distance from the Cathedral and Badia of Sant'Agata. It sleeps six people. From Casa Cosma you will have a characteristic view of the nearby buildings. Casa Cosma is 120 square meters (1290 square feet). It features a private terrace, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be in the heart of Catania, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find a grocery store at 500 meters (550 yards), the bus stop at 100 meters (330 feet) and the closest beach (Playa di Catania beach) at 2.3 km (roughly 1.4 miles).

Casa Cosma is located on the second floor of an ancient building. You will reach it from the main entrance of the building going up approximately nine stairway steps and then using an elevator.

You will not need a car to stay at Casa Cosma. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, for a fee, in a garage. The parking space is suitable for up to two cars. Private parking must be reserved ahead of time; we kindly ask you to let our staff know, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for you.

The terrace is 12 square meters (130 square feet) large. It is partly shaded. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will have a characteristic view of the nearby buildings.

The living room is paved with tiles with inlaid designs. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The furnishings are elegant, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a sofa. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. In this room you will find a smart TV. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through two French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the corridor. It is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!) and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate four guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to a small balcony with a view of the courtyard of the building.

In the living room you will find an open mezzanine level, without door. You will be able to access it climbing a wooden staircase with 15 steps. The mezzanine is paved with wood. The furnishings of the mezzanine include an armchair. Here you will find two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The ceiling is vaulted.

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The floor is paved with tiles with inlaid designs. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include an armchair. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor going up a spiral staircase, climbing 15 steps. The floor is paved with wood. The ceiling is vaulted. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). In this room you will find a television (local channels), it is also equipped with a sauna (please note that use of the sauna is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally). The room has no windows. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a hydromassage shower and a hairdryer.

The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a combo jacuzzi bathtub with shower and a hairdryer. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.
