Get a thrill by taking a walk across a bridge in Umbria - a Tibetan bridge, that is!. This one in the Valnerino northeast of Spoleto just happens to be the highest one in Europe! Dangling 175 meters (574 feet) over the Vigi River Valley, it is 517.5 meters long (1.697 feet, or about 1/3 of a mile) and involves taking 1,023 steps high in the air (with spaces between each footpad!)

Of course, they provide you with the safety gear you need: helmets, safety harness and clips, and gloves. From the village of Sellano to the the Castle of Montesanto, it is a walk over the void that you'll never forget! It is located south of Rasiglia, in the Valnerina (Nera River Valley), roughly between Foligno and Spoleto. Opened in 2024, the attraction is already gaining lots of attention and thrill seekers.

Reserve online to get your time and date, as well as the shuttle return, if you wish. Otherwise, you'll hae to talk back through the woods (about a 45 minute trek).
