Spiaggia della Calanca

A sandy cove just a few paces from the main town beaches of Camerota, it is backed by greenery and hemmed by rocks. It is easily reached and the water deepens, gradually, making it nice for those with kids as well as those who like to swim in deeper water.

A good portion is given over the concessions (lidi) that rent umbrellas and sun loungers, but a section is devoted to free and open beach, as well (bring your own umbrella, beach blanket, etc.) Regardless, you can use the snack bars and services of the lidi even if you choose the free beach. The town is just a short walk away, too.
