Arezzo's elegant old town center is also a nice place to shop. The artisan stores, boutiques, and national stores give lots of variety, amidst the pale palazzi of the city's streets. The main shopping street is Corso Italia, a prime passeggiata place to people-watch, too. You'll find a selection of cafes, wine bars and gelaterias along the way to keep you fortified! The cross-street of Via Cavour is also lined with shops, as is Via Garibaldi.

The weekly street market is held on Saturday mornings outside the centro storico in Viale Giotto. If you're crazy for antiques, Arezzo's monthly antique market is one of Italy's most famous, held in the Piazza Grande every first Sunday of the month, along with the Saturday preceding it.

If all that hasn't caused to drop, the Valdichiana Outlet Village near Foiano della Chiana is just a half-hour away!
