Rosignano Solvay is a delightful village near Rosignano Marittima, renowned for the wide beaches and well-equipped lidos. It has become more and more popular thanks to the "white beaches" that are almost tropical and often compared to "Caribbean-like", situated along the coast between Rosignano and the centre of Vada, perfectly suitable for both youths and families.

Rosignano is easily reachable by car from the National Road that links Livorno and Grosseto towards the south, the SS Aurelia. All along this coastal stretch of 4 Km you'll notice a wonderful pearl-white sandy beach, known as "Spiagge Bianche". The unusual colour is due to the presence of the Solvay sodium bicarbonate facility, situated just one kilometer from the coast.

The beach of "Lillatro" offers the possibility to enjoy a day on a sailing boat, or windsurf and kite-surf courses as well as many other activities.

Around the surrounding area, towns like Castelnuovo, Gabbro and Nibbiaia are typical villages set in the stunning Tuscan countryside, while at Rosignano Solvay the sea is once again the primary protagonist.

The culinary tradition is rich in delicious recipes based on the local fish and the area's agricultural products, accompanied by the great wines of the Costa degli Etruschi.

Cultural, folkloric and sport events will greatly enhance your stay in Rosignano all through the year, also aided by an extraordinarily mild climate.
