Ristorante Il Moletto

For more than 70 years, this restaurant in Porto Santo Stefano has been serving seafood to hungry diners, right on the waterfront. Molo means "pier" so "il moletto" (little pier) means it really is right on the water! Run by the same family since 1955, the eatery and the recipes have been handed down from father to son for a few generations, guaranteeing that the experience will be a traditional Tuscan seafood feast.

They source from local fishermen and the produce comes from the "mainland" nearby. Everything is prepared simply to bring out the best of the flavors. There is outdoor dining right on the water, but the many windows in the dining room ensure a great view, as well.

Il Moletto is open year-round for both lunch and dinner. It is closed on Wednesdays.
