Restaurant Il Sottomarino

Ristorante Il Sottomarino is in the center of Follonica, just a few blocks from the beach. The small family-run restaurant has only about 10 tables inside along with a few outside in the summer, so it fills up fast. They serve classic dishes with a touch of flair - from the hand-made pastas, to the seafood specialties using fresh-caught fish from the gulf. They make their own bread, desserts and liqueurs in-house. Nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. The wine list has regional labels, as well as vintages from around Italy and some imports. Reservations are recommended.
