Located in Lucca's prominent Palazzo Guinigi, this is a small but sobering museum. Dedicated to the history of the Liberation of Italy during World War II, there are exhibits, artifacts and photographs that document the early war period, the Nazi occupation, the partisan resistance movement and the Allied and Italian Liberation Corps. There is a room that focuses exclusively on the local contributions of the cause of liberating Lucca and the surrounding area from the Nazi regime.

Open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 4:00 PM til 5:30 PM. Free admission.
