Mezzavalle Beach

Near Portonovo, this is one of the Conero's best (and lesser known) beaches. There is a restaurant with good food for lunch, but otherwise, nothing to impede on the beach or the views. Bring your own umbrella and gear for a day of sun, surf and fun. The beach is in the Conero National Park. Drive outside Portonovo and park in the lot up above. A 15-minute hike down the steep path brings you to the beach. Or you can hire a boat to take you there, if you'd like to avoid the uphill return! This is one of the beaches that the locals love and don't usually tell anybody about!
