Carta Romana Beach

Swim in view of the medieval Aragon castle and connecting bridge. The Carta Romana beach is also near the Torre del Guevara tower. There are black volcanic rocks sculpted by the sea, like artistic additions to the beach. Natural hot springs bubble up in the sea, keeping the water warm enough to swim in, even in winter. Natural cavities pool the water into hot tubs for soaking.

You can arrive by boat from Ischia Porto or Ischia Ponte, or go to the end of Via Cartaromana and then walk about 700 meters to reach the beach.
