Acciaroli Beach

The "big beach" at Acciaroli is also called Spiaggia Grande, and is easily accessed right from town. Many consider Acciaroli and its beach to be the "pearl" of the Cilento, a beautiful spot with clean beaches and pure water that is consistently awarded the "bandiera blu" (blue flag), a designation of quality services and cleanliness for both shore and water.

The long tract of fine sand is also wide enough to not get overly crowded. It is a great choice for families and sun-seekers of all ages -from kids to elderly- because it is easy to reach, the water is shallow and deepens gradually. There are vendors who rent umbrellas and sun beds, or you can go to the tracts of free beach. You'll find good sun exposure through most of the day, beautiful sunsets and services right in town.
