Fantastic

July 2013 - It is very nice place, but sometimes too loud neighbours. Well equiped kitchen and house. But no electric teapot - it was a problem for us. No wine glasses.

Very nice and polite owner - great respect! Very punctual and attentive man!

Very good agency. Everything was good!

Electric power has always been a problem in Italy, unfortunately. The electric kettles that are commonly found abroad can easily trip the switches of the average Italian house, as they alone use more power that the entire house is allowed! That is why Italians use gas stoves to heat the water... those Italians who drink tea, anyway :-) Funny how you could not imagine an Italian home without a "moka" coffee-maker, while a kettle is not always present. ((British visitors please stop reading here.)) Most Italians would tell you that to boil water you need a saucepan. ((Ups, I am sorry -- I did try to hide the news from you! :-)))

Travel tips

  • Exellent sand beach situated in Acciaroli - 5 km from villa.
  • Eurospar - big supermarket - 9 km (rent-a-bicycle also near Eurospar, 50 euro per 1 week).
  • All the necessary products are in the village of Agnone - 200 meters from the house.
  • Villa Giovanna is a townhouse for 3-4 families, each with its own separate entrance and mini garden.
  • The sea is nice and rock beach is also very good.

  • Very good sandy beaches in Marina di Casal Velino and in Agropoli.
  • From nearby sights is advised to visit Vesuvio, Pompei, Paestum. Necessarily pass on Amalfi coast. Memory for all life. For trips necessarily rent the car.

Travel tips

  • We did not know that the electricity system was different from Scandinavia, we had to buy new converting plugs.
  • People working in the nearest supermarket (200 m from the gate) were very nice and helpful, and even if the shop was small they had "everything" (just ask).

September 2005 - Villa Giovanna was excellent. The property was all we could have hoped for.

It was spotless and very well cared for. Everything we needed was provided.

I would not hesitate in recommending the villa to others.

I found your company on the Internet. Your staff were so professional and caring. Every question I had was answered immediately. In fact they went out of their way to give us all the help they could. It's always a worry when choosing accomodation on the Internet but I felt very comfortable in dealing with your company and I would not hesitate to tell others about you. I would certainly deal with you again. Thank you so much for all your help.

August 2004 - We were delighted to be welcomed by Giovanna and her family when we arrived - such a nice family and they were eager to ensure that we were made to feel as comfortable as possible.

The Villa is nested among a number of beautiful appartments and 2/3 storey villas - we loved the shaded garden and spent many hours over lunch just enjoying the peaceful scene.

Fans were supplied for each room and in the early August heat these were essential.

The 50 m swimming pool is just amazing - spotlessly clean - and we were able to practice for the Olympics in between visits to the small on-site bar! Italians around the pool were so friendly to our children.

We discovered it is (just) possible to walk round the headland to the village of Agnone - but don't forget to take your key to the gate by the swimming pool so you can get back in to the secure site where the villas are located.

Our family loved Villa Giovanna and Roberto [the owner] handled all the administration at the start and finish of our holiday most efficiently.

We would have no hesitation about booking to go back to Villa Giovanna.

The organisation by Summer in Italy was excellent. All the arrangements were so easy and professional with just the right level of communication so we felt confident that our holiday was going to be a success - and it was.

September 2003 - We we had such a wonderful week at Villa Giovanna. When we arrived at the complex the young people who met us gave a very warm welcome. The villa was very clean and equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay down to the smallest detail.

All the staff on the complex were pleasant and helpful and did their best to understand our limited Italian.

We hope to return to Villa Giovanna soon. Many thanks to all for such a good holiday.

Unfortunately, Villa Giovanna can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
