Very good

June 2014 - We enjoyed our stay at Villa Belladonna.

The house is spacious and generally well equipped. The pool area is nice, the views are great.

The owner was helpful and welcoming.

Summer In Italy was very helpful!

Travel tips

  • The road to the house is very narrow - do not have a large car.

Fantastic

August 2013 - The location is exceptional, very peaceful with a fantastic view. The house is an old traditional farmhouse that was well renovated. Swimming pool is big, private and has both sunny and shady areas.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Travel tips

  • Some very good restaurants in the region (ask the owners for a recommendation).
  • There is a famous triptych by Masaccio in the nearby village of Cascia (Reggello) that is well worth the visit.
  • The villa is halfway between Arezzo and Florence allowing for trips to both.

Excellent

October 2012 - We found Villa Belladonna almost perfect in every aspect of our stay.

We were met at the arranged location and escorted to the Villa. Whilst the road to the Villa was a little daunting at first we did manage to overcome the challenge.

The view from the patio area was breathtaking!

Our hosts had generously provided provisions including a selection of cold meats, juice, olives, wine and breads, etc.

The kitchen was also well supplied with all utensils etc. The bedrooms were very large, one of the bathrooms was narrow but more than adequate.

Whilst we used the villa as a base for touring it could just as easily been utilised as a one stop venue with the swimming pool and BBQ coming into their own.

The cooking class arranged by our host was a highlight of our stay.

We certainly enjoyed our stay at Villa Belladonna.

Travel tips

  • We found the villa served a dual purpose. It was a base for touring the country whilst also being reasonably close to Florence. There was also the view.
  • There were some large supermarkets on the way to the villa but take care as some are cash only!
  • It was a little drive to Figline to catch a train to Florence but it was only a 30 minute train trip.
  • Take advantage of the hosts offer to do any online/reservation tours for you.

Unfortunately, Villa Belladonna can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
