Location was great

May 2018 - From the moment we arrived we feel in love with Casa Il Fico A. Our host was there to greet us and made us feel very welcome.

Location was great, out of the hustle and bustle of the more populated tourist parts of the Amalfi Coast, however very central with bus stop 20 meters from the door. Market and other shops just as close too.

Loved it!

May 2018 - Loved it! A perfect little apartment with everything we needed. We loved the convenient in town location, literally steps from markets and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and would love to return! Praiano is awesome!

It was my second time booking with Summer In Italy. They are wonderful... I wouldn’t think of booking with anyone else. Very helpful and quick to answer any questions. Thank you!

Travel tips

  • We loved Bar de Sole for sitting in the sun in the middle of town hanging with the locals.
  • Favourite dining spot Vivaro Wine Bar...
  • Trattoria San Gennaro is amazing! Fabulous food and great dining experience.

  • Definitely have a night eating on the balcony and watch the sun going down.
  • Get some fresh produce and wine from the shops down the road and cook it up in the kitchen.

Wonderful memories

July 2017 - Beautiful apartment with a stunning view.

The apartment is decorated to a high standard (fabulous tiles everywhere) huge bedroom with vaulted ceiling, plenty of storage space. Very pretty and modern en-suite with a good shower. The kitchenette has everything you need to cook and spacious fridge/ freezer. Very effective air con in both rooms.

The owners left us bowls of delicious fruit and tomatoes!

The apartment is just off the main Amalfi road so there is inevitably road noise but the plus side it's near the bus stops. You do need to be relatively fit to walk down the 450 steps to the sea (no sandy beaches on the Amalfi coast but beautiful clear water!). Parking is an issue but we paid to park approx 10 - 15 mins walk away although we were able to stop outside for a short time to unload suitcases, shopping etc.

Wonderful memories of sitting on the lovely balcony looking at the view, the stars at night as well as the super yachts passing by in the distance!

Travel tips

  • Che Bonta Pizza Restaurant just over the road very good value and good food.
  • Caught the bus to Positano as parking there very difficult. Bus was busy and not quite the same British way of queuing but worked fine.
  • Ravello amazing, we arrived there at 8.45 am so parking in car park fine but when we left lots of cars waiting to park.
