Casa Lavinia B is a gracious 32-square-meter (about 345 square feet) studio
apartment which sleeps two people. It is located in the suggestive Rione del Ponte, the very heart of downtown Rome, 100 meters (about 328 feet) away from the famous
Piazza Navona. It is equipped with air-conditioning.
The apartment is part of an historic building where Mario Dell’Arco, a famous architect and poet was born and it has an independent entrance in one of the most characteristic streets of Rome, where most of the local handicraft shops still survive.
Casa Lavinia B is on the ground floor and it features an independent entrance
facing a narrow pedestrian street.
The place
The house is situated on a little secondary street framed by age-old buildings
which are like barriers against traffic and noise coming from the center of the
town, which is only 50 meters (about 164 feet) away.
Incredible how much tranquility you will find in the small maze of medieval
streets around Casa Lavinia B: there are small shops and antique stores,
ornaments with vases and flowers, and people strolling here and there. Only
residents are allowed to drive their cars in the surroundings after 18:30,
although parking is prohibited.
You will be few steps away from Piazza Navona, which is also a pedestrian area
and one of the main tourist attractions in Rome. The huge square (270 meters
long / about 886 feet long and featuring three monumental fountains) is highly
visited by tourists, and you will find shops and outdoor restaurants and bars
there.
The house
Casa Lavinia B consists of a single room divided in a sleeping area and a living
area half-wall long. In the sleeping area you will find a double bed. In the
living area you will find a dining table and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is
equipped with a four-burner stove, an oven, a fridge, and a dishwasher The
studio apartment is complete with a bathroom with shower. Fresh air is supplied
to the house through the entrance door and windows high up on the walls.
The house is completely furnished with care and taste for beautiful objects in
general.

in the heart of the city. You can conveniently walk to many of the most
important monuments and rendezvous there is!
