Holiday Home Description

Casa Candice is an enthralling 80-square-meter (about 861 square feet) apartment which sleeps five people. It has a spacious terrace facing the sea and a wide and splendid view of the seascape and the Amalfi Coast, from Praiano to Positano and Capri.

The apartment is equipped with air-conditioning. A reserved parking space in a garage is available upon request.

There is a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and a single divan bed, two bathrooms with shower, and a living-room with a kitchenette. The double bedroom and the living-room face the terrace overlooking the sea.

Casa Candice is an apartment on the third and last floor of an age-old house in Praiano. The house is built on a stretch of coast which gently descends towards the sea.

It is part of an old area of Praiano, right in the center of the town and a few feet away from shops, restaurants and bars.

You will enter a bright living-room which communicates to several rooms in the house. The two bedrooms have their own bathroom next door. In the bedroom with two single beds, you will also find a single divan bed. From the double bedroom, you have access to the terrace overlooking the sea.

Quite beautiful is the view from the living-room. On the wall facing the sea, there are two patio doors and a large glass window through which you will see the dazzling blue of the sky and the sea and the enthralling stretch of coast between Positano and Capri.

The living-room is furnished with armchairs, a table with chairs, and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner stove, an oven, and a fridge with freezer.

From the terrace, you can enjoy a splendid 180º view of the sea and the coast. You will be able to admire the whole fascinating arch-shaped coast where Positano is nestled. Your eyes will meet, far in the horizon, Capri with its famous Faraglioni (stacks – vertical columns of rock in the sea near the coast) and the small Li Galli islands just a little closer.

In order for you to enjoy the beauty in complete relaxation, the terrace is partially shaded by a cover and furnished with sun loungers and a table with chairs. The terrace will be your favorite place to have meals outdoor while admiring wonderful sunsets over the sea.

From Casa Candice, you can reach the sea by either taking a bus or walking until the beach "della Praia", about 1 km (about 0.6 mile) away. You can also climb a long stairway (about 400 steps) which leads to a graciously small beach placed in an inlet enclosed by rocks. During spring-summer, all the beaches are equipped with establishments and restaurants. Several beaches have small boats which take you to numerous and enthralling small beaches along the coast. Don't miss the chance of going on those trips! From Praiano, you can easily reach the beaches of Positano and Amalfi by bus.

Casa Candice is located on the main street of Praiano, a few feet from shops and restaurants.

Casa Candice can be reached by bus, and the bus stop of city shuttles and buses which connect Praiano to other towns is only 50 meters (about 164 feet) away. You don't need a car during your stay, as public transportation is efficient and economical.

However, in case you have a car, you can park it along the road, about 250 meters (about 820 feet) from the house. A reserved parking space in a garage is available upon request.

From Praiano you can easily reach the tourist centers on the Amalfi Coast and of the Sorrento Coast using the Sita buses.

Praiano and Positano are well connected by a local minibus which provides frequent journeys. You will be able to plunge, whenever you want, into the intense tourist life of Positano, with its meeting-places, shopping streets and restaurants.

If you like hiking, from Casa Candice you will be able to easily reach the famous trail along the ridge of the mountains that overlook the Amalfi Coast. For its extraordinary beauty, made of precipices and breathtaking views, the trail is called "Sentiero degli Dei": Path of the Gods.

Once at Casa Candice, you will enjoy a vacation in a natural environment of amazing beauty, and you will also have a base to visit Pompeii, Paestum, Naples and the Royal Palace of Caserta.

You will be able to visit the famous beaches of the Amalfi Coast and see the characteristic fashion and artisans' shops, as well as attend the many cultural and artistic happenings that take place throughout the year.

Those who like to go out at night will find that the Amalfi Coast has a lot to offer: from piano-bars to very exclusive night clubs.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Casa Candice the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 100, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
