August 2012 - Villa Titti is a very good place for the entire family, both young children and the elderly.

The owner is very friendly and I greet him warmly.

The service at Summer In Italy is fantastic. I used your service for the second time and I had no problems.

Travel tips

  • Large cars (eg. FORD Combi van) that don't fit in the parking space must be left on the street.

August 2011 - A very comfortable villa, the setting is magnificent with fantastic views over the sea, to Vesuvius and the pretty port of Marina della Lobra.

The owner was very attentive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A visitors book at the villa would have been useful. Always have these at the gites in France.

Travel tips

  • The access for cars is restricted and we found it difficult so parked our two cars on the road which was completely safe.
  • Main shopping Auchan at Pompeii (fit in on trips to Vesuvius, Pompeii and Herculaneum) but able to get fresh fruit, veg, bread, cheese etc. in local shops in Massa.
  • Capri very expensive and busy!
  • Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius very moving.
  • Positano over rated as so busy. Couldn't park had to go on further and catch bus back.
  • Walk from Ravello to Amalfi via Atrani beautiful and then tourist bus back to Ravello where we parked the cars!
  • Sorrento found good car park off main road and visited several times.
  • Train service from Sorrento to Naples good.
  • Sea at Mitigliano lovely to swim in - steep walk back to Termini but doable!

June 2011 - We were two (elderly but active) couples and stayed for two weeks in June. For us the accommodation was ideal being located in a tranquil spot with wonderful panoramic views over the bay of Naples with Vesuvius in the background.

The property is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The generous terraces got the sun all day long and we ate our breakfasts and lunches outdoors in partial shade.

The owner, Augusto, was very pleasant, full of advice and responded very promptly and efficiently when we had occasion to contact him.

The swimming pool is relatively small but was well used throughout our stay.

Although access from the road is via a short winding drive and 35 steps it was easily managed and did not cause us a problem.

Contact with Summer in Italy was always efficient and easy with prompt responses to emailed queries. The website is very good with plenty of pictures of each of the properties.

Travel tips

  • There are numerous, relatively inexpensive small family run restaurants within a short drive from the property which are worth trying in Massa Lubrense, Marina della Lobra, Sant'Agata.
  • Massa Lubrense is a short drive away where all facilities are available.
  • Capri was a little disappointing for us as we went on a Sunday when it was busy and very touristy in the main town. It was quite expensive to get there.
  • Sorrento is again a busy and bustling town with attractive tourist shops, restaurants and cafes - well worth an excursion.
  • The drive down the Amalfi coast is well worth the while - in Positano don't attempt to park on the main road, use the parking areas off-road within the town.
  • Use the bus service to get into Sorrento and the train to go to Pompeii which is a must.

June 2011 - Had a thoroughly enjoyable week at the villa - very relaxing. Lots of outside space to enjoy, with beautiful views.

Travel tips

  • A car really is a must, otherwise it's quite isolated.

September 2010 - We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Titti.

Travel tips

  • Be prepared to pay ridiculous prices on taxis. It's 20 euros to go 5 miles!
  • Rubbish is all recycled and it was a nightmare disposing of it.

Unfortunately, Villa Titti can not be booked at this time.

We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
