September 2012 - Owner is delightful and eager to help. There is not sufficient room for 9 adults. The three bedded room is too small for adults. Probably perfect for six adults.

However we had a great time there, especially our pizza night!

More than happy with the web site.

  • Six adults sharing is the ideal number of occupants, otherwise it is crowded.

August 2012 - Had a wonderful holiday in Amalfi, and Villa Paride was a delightful place to stay.

We were well looked after by the owners and no request was too much for them to try and make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

We would definitely recommend this place to our friends :)

Summer in Italy have been great and responded almost immediately to all our questions - even on weekends. We were really impressed with the prompt and friendly responses.

Travel tips

  • Parking is a little tight but not a real problem when you get used to it. If you can then I'd go for a smaller rental car.
  • Try a boat tour around and to Capri with Capitanoago. They sail from Piano di Sorrento and pick up/drop off to the villa -- a great full day out :)

June 2012 - Our stay at Villa Paride was excellent and one we will always remember.

Our hosts Lucia and Alessandro could not have been more welcoming, from the pizza party we were invited to on the first evening to the wonderful breakfasts and evening meals we were served. Their hospitality was second to none.

The property itself was well furnished and very clean, and the view from the front terrace over the bay of Naples was beautiful.

Ciao Lucia and Alessandro and thank you for everything.

  • Local public transport, trains and buses are very good and reasonably priced, so a car is not essential.

June 2012 - The hospitality was wonderful, Alessandro and his mother Lucia are the perfect hosts ,attentive to our every needs, in addition we were treated to three memorable meals.

The Villa is also an ideal place for young children with its garden, and swimming pool.

The free WIFI worked well.

  • Parking is limited and particularly difficult if you have, as we did, a large vehicle.

October 2011 - My family and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Paride.

Alessandro and his mother Lucia [the owners] made us very welcome, the villa was immaculate and just as described on the internet.

The pizza party that Alessandro gave us was excellent, and so was their wine.

We would highly recommend this villa to anyone, and will probably be going there again.

Excellent site, gives good information, and was very easy to use.

Travel tips

  • It is somewhat isolated so a car is pretty much essential.
  • Some good restaurants in Piano di Sorrento, however would recommend going into Sorrento and trying The Foreigners Club which is situated above the harbour with great views across the bay to Vesuvius. The food and wine was good too.

October 2011 - We chose Villa Paride because it ticked every box for us and we weren't disappointed.

It was a perfect place to relax and the friendliness of the owners made it the perfect holiday. The garden and pool is great and safe for families with young children.

The house was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

The highlight of our holiday was the pizza party put on by our hosts. We were all so full afterwards we could hardly move!!

Very happy with all communication. Questions were answered promptly and the little newsletters I found very helpful. I booked through Summer in Italy because it was the most user friendly of all the sites I looked at.

  • A vehicle is a must although the shopping area is within an easy walk.

May 2011 - It was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and the family who runs it is incredible!

Travel tips

  • Be prepared to walk a little bit to get to the main town of Sorrento and to the grocery store, as Villa Paride is on top of a hill. The family provides bus schedules and directions to the Circumvesuviana train system. It was not a major drawback by any means.

Unfortunately, Villa Paride can not be booked at this time.
