October 2008 - We really enjoyed the Villa Melinda.

The only complaint I could possibly offer is that the bath is too small. But since this was the first bathroom with a bathtub we encountered in Italy, I really cannot complain!

Linda and Tom [the owners] were very helpful, and the food package was very much appreciated, since we arrived after 6 pm and it was a long way down the mountain to the grocery store.

Would I go again? Yes!

Travel tips

  • This is an area of great beauty and the views from the villa are superb. However, if you do not plan to hike or walk, it is quite a drive to any major attractions other than Lucca.

Unfortunately, Villa Melinda can not be booked at this time.
