Excellent

May 2011 - We enjoyed are time there very much.

The cycling was excellent for confident riders, excellent hiking was close by, restaurants and groceries close by, and of course the sea coast.

September 2010 - Freda B would be a great place for a smaller group. The view from there was fabulous. The patio was fanatastic!

May 2010 - We very much enjoyed our stay at Freda B, however, as we were doing a lot of touring in the area, we did not spend that much time in the Villa itself. Had we needed to spend more time there were a few things that should be improved.

1. There is a musty odor from one of the bathrooms that permeates the house when it is closed up.

2. There is no WiFi as advertised - Hi Speed cable is available but only one person at a time then is able to be on line, we had 3 computers with us [please note that the service advertised in the description is indeed a cable connection; if you have more than one PC consider Googling 'turn your pc into a wi-fi hotspot' :-)].

3. I think we must have been the first visitors of the season. The Villa was clean and very tidy however it was a bit dusty.

4. We did not get a working oven until later in the week. Not a problem for us as we were eating out often, but could have been had we wanted more meals in.

That's the negative: Now the positive:

1. The location is perfect for exploring this part of the coast.

2. The views are terrific and amazing.

3. The patio/deck was very comfortable.

4. Our host was extremely helpful, welcoming, easy to get hold of and very nice to get to know<./p>

5. Parking was more than adequate and very much appreciated.

6. The bathrooms are large and comfortable to use.

7. We appreciated having a clothes washer

8. Loved having breakfast on the patio/deck and seeing the lemon trees below.

This Villa worked very well for us but probably wouldn't work for anyone with handicaps as there are stairs down to the suite itself.

We booked with Summer in Italy because we wanted to stay at Freda B after having done extensive internet searches for apartments in the area.

We are extremely happy with the service that Summer in Italy provided, from making the booking to making our payments to helping us get to know the area. Thanks so much.
