Excellent

September 2005 - We absolutely loved our holiday and our stay in Villa Federica. Would most definitely, without question stay again. It was perfect for our requirements.

We felt like we were locked away in our own little paradise, had it not been for that fact we needed to feed ourselves, I don't think we would ever have ventured out. Even the thought of climbing all those steps back to the Villa after swimming was OK, as the view made it so worth it.

To watch the sun melt away into the mountains at the end of each day was a pleasure I personally will never forget.

Summer In Italy were extremely efficient in their response times to questions and were very happy to answer any questions we may have had concerning Villa Federica. Any fears or concerns we may have had, going to a place we were unfamiliar with and renting accomodation we had never been to before, were quickly put to ease. Thank-you for all your help.

July 2005 - We found Villa Federica and its location perfect to relax and enjoy the surroundings without the crowds. The views are amazing and breathtaking.

The village is quaint, but a bit too sleepy if you're looking for something to do. The choices for dining and shopping are too few and require a trip into Positano or Amalfi.

Overall we loved this place, but we were disappointed at the number of steps to get to and from the village. There were over 200 steps down to the village and another 400 if you wanted to go all the way to the little beach. You have to carefully plan your outings because in the searing summer heat, you don't want to make that trip more than once a day.

The villa owner was very helpful and accomodating, especially when we got there and need a lot of help with our luggage.

You have a very slick web-site and I would defintely use you again to search and book a vacation spot.

June 2005 - We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Federica.

Fantastic views, lovely peaceful location. Car Parking on road was a bonus, but it was about 170 steps uphill to the road!

The owners were very friendly and met us promptly.

Locals were also helpful, the shop owners let us taste items before buying (hams, cheeses etc) and could manage more English than we could Italian.

Excellent service, we will definitley use you again when we come back to Italy.

May 2005 - We selected Villa Federica for its view and outdoor spaces and were not disappointed. The setting was absolutely lovely and so peaceful. We enjoyed breakfast and evening cocktails on the balcony everyday. The set up with three levels and a bedroom and bath on each level provided privacy for each member of our party.

If you enjoy staying off the beaten path, you will love the peaceful little village of Praiano. We rented a car and it was an easy drive to Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento for sightseeing. But it was so relaxing to return to Praiano at the end of the day. The location would only work for someone who can manage the steps - there are 250 steps to get down to the shops and 150 to get up to the road where we parked our car.

We cooked several times in the villa and found everything that we needed in the main kitchen to make a simple meal. It was also very nice to have a washing machine available, allowing us to pack light for the trip.

We would definitely recommend the villa to others.

March 2005 - We loved our experience at Villa Federica.

The villa was very comfortable, and the view was spectacular. We liked being in Praiano too, it was quiet and easy to catch the bus to go to other towns. Parking was a little tight and the steps were a daily challenge especially with the luggage but we just weren't expecting all those steps! The owners were delightful and easy to work with. Roberto was a very polite host showing us all around the unit.

We would recommend the villa to our friends.

The villa was exactly what was protrayed in the website and you all were excellent to work with - I felt we could call on you if we had any questions. I will use you again.

October 2004 - Thank you so much. We throughly enjoyed our stay in Villa Federica. It is the perfect hill side retreat. Located up high it offered fantastic views of the stunning Amalfi coast line, perfect position for an untainted view of spectacular Positano. I would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a holiday in the area. It's ideal for those who like to come and go as they please. Big enough to share with friends.

Villa Federica is not at all overlooked. We found that with having the ensuite in the master bedroom along with access from the bedroom to a sun filled terrace, if desired you could keep yourself very much to yourself.

Although peaceful Casa Federica is not cut off, being a short walk from town and a short drive from Positano. We would go again without fail.

If we ever wish to holiday in Italy you will without doubt be the first place we look when booking accomodation.

June 2004 - We did enjoy our stay in Casa Federica very much.

The house is beautifully situated in the upper part of the village Praiano and the steps were a good excercise for all of us.

The bedroom upstairs has an excellent view on the see.

The owners were very kind and gave us a very good restaurant advise.

May 2004 - We would like to let you know how much we enjoyed our week in Praiano at Casa Federica. The apartment is spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean - the views from the two balconies are spectacular!

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and suggested places to visit. Praiano was a great choice for us as it was not as touristy as Positano but well placed for visits to other towns on the Amalfi coast as well as Pompei, vesuvius and Capri. It was also a good base for the walking trails - the 'Path of the Gods' from Bomerano to Positano was simply breathtaking!!

The local shops in Praiano were wonderful with fresh fruit and vegetables and a great selection of bread, cheese and wines. Negotiating the steps up and down to the town kept us fit but the effort was amply rewarded by being able to relax with a glass (or two) of wine and watch the sunset from the balcony.
