August 2010 - We (a family including 8 adults and 5 kids spanning three generations) had a most wonderful week in Villa Eleonora.

The accommodations are outstanding in all respects and the surroundings are spectacular.

The staff took extremely good care of us in a very cheerful manner.

We warmly recommend the villa for anybody looking for an active vacation as well as for the ones looking for a quite and serene retreat.

June 2010 - We had organised a party of 14 to stay at Villa Eleonara over a 2 week stay to celebrate a 50th birthday. Everything was fantastic - the place is amazing (rooms, kitchen, views, outdoors, private swimming area)... along with the steps - you have to realise that steps are part of the routine anywhere on the Amalfi coast - so be prepared wherever you go.

I think we ventured out to dine once or twice during the stay... part of the fun was walking (downhill about 20mins) into Amalfi town, checking out the local produce (fresh mozarella, salami, tomatoes and, of course lemons!!) - it was a competition to get into the kitchen ...which was a full commercial affair.

Cleaning by Raffaella and Lucia was top notch... and Luca was usually on hand to help with minor fixes and porter services.

The owner - Cristina - was very helpful - the grocery delivery service was a great help.

This was the holiday/celebration once in a lifetime - if you are looking for a luxury, modern villa with spectacular views, great location, look no further than Villa Eleonora. You will not be disappointed...

Keep doing the great work - you are responsive to emails - very important!! - and the whole process is very well explained on the website and easy to follow. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Italy... we are inspired to improve our Italian!!

April 2009 - The villa - rooms, living, kitchen, garden, view, beach - were all beyond and above all expectations, so clean, warm, and well lit. So inviting to lay back and do nothing but enjoy the place and the view.

Accuracy of the description on the web site was 100%. Whatever was promised - was there, and more...

The service people, especially Raffaella and Anna were extremely kind and efficient, and you were always there for whatever we needed.

We remain with warm memories of an amazing week we spent there. THANK YOU.

You made a good impression when we contacted you, we felt you were reliable, and trying hard to provide us with as many details as possible about the villa. Your strength is your reliablility. Whatever you promised on your site - was 100% PRECISE. My advice to you is - keep it this way.

October 2008 - The villa exceeded our expectations in every regard. The cleaning staff who looked after the villa were simply the best we have ever experienced, the owner was very helpful and went out of his way to help us.

The location is perfect, close to Amalfi, within easy commute of Positano and Capri by Boat or SITA.

The kitchen in the villa is a professional level kitchen, which was a pleasant surprise for us. We had an Espresso Machine and every other appliance in the kitchen was of the highest quality.

There are high quality LCD TVs in every bedroom, plus a large plasma TV in the living room, i.e. there is nothing in this villa that is not first class.

There are two private beaches that you have access to, and the owner has once again made sure that everything is there that you need in order to enjoy the water.

The booking process was easy, staff responded to my emails promptly and did a good job of answering questions we had. We will use Summer in Italy again.

April 2008 - We had a wonderful time at Villa Eleonora!

The service was impeccable, down to every last detail! If I ever needed anything the cleaning staff would take care of it! If we needed groceries to buy, we just made a list! We spent our time just having fun!

The cook that we hired made the pasta by hand and made the most incredible meal I have ever had.

This place is a true paradise. The design of the house was very modern and up to date with the latest technology you would expect from a luxury villa! WI-FI, individually controlled temperature in each room, towel warmers in every room, satellite TV with flat screen TVs in every room -- not that you would need it because the views from this villa are breathtaking!

The description of the villa on the website does not do justice to what this place has offer! We didn't want to go anywhere else!

Andrea from SummerInItaly went above and beyond to cater to my every detailed need for my wedding reception at the villa. I really did not even need a wedding coordinator between him and the villa owner, they did more than is normally expected in their position! I will never forget all of you who made my wedding and reception a dream come true!!!!
