September 2011 - Villa Cassandra was awesome! We were 3 couples travelling so having 3 separate apartments was very convenient. As it was recently renovated everything was quite comfortable.

The variety of patios made it fun to eat on a different one each day!! Picking a lemon from the lemon tree to use in our Lemon Risotto added to the memories of our stay. We never tired of sitting on the patio, sipping a glass of wine and gazing at the beautiful view of the Bay of Naples with Mount Vesuvius in the distance, in fact it had a calming effect after the noise of traffic while out sightseeing.

Travel tips

  • When googled for the location, it doesn't indicate that the villa is up a hill! Although a bit concerning at first, it turned out to be not that hard a climb as the road switched back and forth reducing the steepness.
  • Be aware the village church bells ring at 7 am, the villa is in the town of Sant'Agnello, so it's approx a 20-30 minute walk into downtown Sorrento one way and approx. 10 minute walk into Sant'Agnello downtown the other way.

September 2010 - My family and I truly enjoyed Villa Cassandra. The accommodations were more than we needed but we loved having the extra space.

The views were unforgettable, and the terraces were a perfect place to view them. We have memories that will last a lifetime!!

I had a very nice experience with Summer in Italy. Everyone we dealt with in making our plans was very courteous and most helpful. Thank you for helping to make our trip wonderful!!
