September 2010 - Loved the position, the view and the space outside of the room. I was very happy with the central location within Ravello with easy access to everything.

Any negatives were that the room is really damp and it is really important to use the dehumidifier supplied which we were not informed about at the time of arrival. Also the complex has no car parking facilities so you need to factor an extra EUR 20 per day for parking if you have a car are not using it.

With all the space on the terrace it would have been nice to have use of a barbecue, there is one on the level below it would have been good to have one next to our apartment.

Travel tips

  • Unless you are used to driving on very narrow winding roads it is not worth hiring a car it is so much easier to use public transport.
  • The bus down to Amalfi is good and the boat trip to Capri is a really nice day out, especially if the weather is good and you can sit out on the deck.
  • There is a restaurant called Mamma's which is lovely and the antipasti is amazing.
  • Also really liked the pizza's in the restaurant next to the bus stop, Restaurant da Salvatore, the Carbonara pizza was great.
  • Do not miss visiting Villa Rufolo at the top of Ravello, there are some lovely restaurants up there and some great views - don't miss it!

October 2009 - We enjoyed our stay immensely here. It was the highlight of our 6 week trip in Europe.

The view from our terrace was stunning and the pool and grounds well groomed.

Teresa [the caretaker] was very helpful.

Summer in Italy was great. I would use it again and have recommended you to others.

Travel tips

  • We really enjoyed the walk down to Minori. It wasn't that strenuous and definitely worth the energy. We hopped on a bus at Minori and went for a swim at Maiori Beach. It was a beautiful and inexpensive adventure. It would be a fantastic family outing.
