August 2008 - The view is fabulous. There was a festival the first weekend that kept us awake at night but part of the adventure.
We thought your descriptions were very accurate. Some things you can't grasp until you are there. The big dilemma is whether to rent a car. We did but didn't use it that much since it was easier to work around the bus schedule and not deal with Italian style driving. I think I would have paid for a taxi to get us there and then use the bus. However, the bus doesn't run that often and the last one is 8:30 p.m. so that's another consideration.
Getting through the gate takes two people... one to guide you through. It's that narrow!

November 2005 - We very much enjoyed our stay at Adriana A. It is very well located to visit all of the sites in the area, and has splendid views out over the coast. Although there is no lounge, the kitchen is a good size, with a table and chairs, and it opens onto a pleasant terrace which also has a table and chairs.
It's good to be out of Sorrento, and in an area where there are few tourists. The local restaurant "Vino Vera" is a real plus, and also does takeaways.
Thankyou, very helpful and prompt with e-mail enquiries. Would book through you again.

June 2005 - We had a lovely stay there and enjoyed the beautiful views.
A car is certainly needed there, however we did not like the idea of driving in Sorrento so we took taxis most of the time. This could be expensive at times but we shared the cost with my son and girlfriend who were staying with us.
We found the owner very pleasant and helpful.

April 2005 - The villa is a little out of town (a good 20-minute walk up a steep hill) but, even though we did not have a car, we were able to use the local bus service down the hill which runs at very good times.
Great views of the area from the villa and Roberto [the owner] was very helpful.

October 2004 - We really enjoyed the location and off street parking. It was very good to be met by Roberto [the owner] who made us welcome and we felt able to contact him if needed.
The villa suited our needs - we would of loved a view of Sorrento from the kitchen balcony, but the ability to sit outside was good.
The villa was clean, slightly sparse on large cups and glasses, but overall very good.
Your service and communications have been very good. We enjoyed Italy enormously and will be back, and would be happy to use Summer in Italy again.
Thanks.

September 2004 - We enjoyed it very much, after couple of trips the drive up the hill was quite easy and enjoyable.

August 2004 - Lovely villa, with fantastic views. Good size for families. Entertaining nightly fireworks and church bells throughout the night! Amusing variety of wildlife close by (donkey, goat, geese and numerous small dogs!). Definitely need a (very small) car. We had a fabulous holiday, it was good to be a little out of the touristy hustle and bustle of high season Sorrento. Roberto [the owner] was friendly and helpful.
Go to Vino Vero - FANTASTIC restaurant just down the road - excellent (cheap) food, friendly, welcoming staff, amused by our efforts at speaking Italian.
Pre-holiday arrangements were excellent, good directions to meet the owner, helpful written advice, overall, excellent. Found your site by a Google web search. We had a fabulous holiday, thank you very much.

July 2004 - As a family of 4, we need some space at times and Adriana A has everything you need. There is no lounge but this just encouraged us to use the terrace area. Fantastic views over Sorrento with Vesuvio in the background.
Ideal location and only a short drive to town with free parking before the town centre. Covered and secure parking at the villa.
The small gap in the gateway to the road leading to the villa takes some getting used to but it's amazing how quickly you adapt.
We all had a brilliant time and I would recommend this Villa to couples and families alike.
Dealing with Summer in Italy has been a real pleasure from the very beginning. Just keep doing what you do and you will always have happy guests.
We just visited the website by chance searching for 'apartments in Sorrento' and we struck lucky...your site is far better than all the others we vied and your love and enthusiasm for the area comes over through the site itself.

June 2004 - We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Adriana A, which was quiet and in a secluded location in the hills above Sorrento well away from the crowds.
There is a very narrow access for cars with a vicious metal barrier which needs watching out for and the terrace is rear facing rather than facing the bay as you'd expect, but all in all, we felt very much at home there.

May 2004 - Very beautiful villa. Ultra clean and modern with fantastic view. Owner was very accommodating. Location very central to Naples and Amalfi Coast, but need a car to get to the villa from Sorrento itself.
If you have a car, I would highly recommend this villa.

April 2004 - We truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Adriana A and will recommend it to friends. I will caution friends to rent a small car to allow them to drive through the very narrow entry gate. You wouldn't walk to town from the villa (too steep and too far) but you are amply rewarded with secure, quiet, and very clean accomodations and a wonderful view.

August 2003 - I want to let you know that we spent a very wonderful week in Villa Adriana in Sorrento.
Everything was alright, the house was very nice, we found all we needed. Also the owner, Roberto, was very kind. He gave us useful information what to do in the region of Sorrento.
So you can be sure that we will first contact you for our next Italy-Holidays, and we will suggest your agency to all our friends.

June 2003 - We have returned safely home after a wonderful trip across part of Europe and Britain. We especially enjoyed our time in Italy, what a wonderful country!
Sorrento is a fantastic place, so much to see and do, and never enough time. Our stay at Villa Adriana A was a memorable one, the views over the bay of Naples were stunning and the accommodation was absolutely excellent.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Adriana A to anyone and will certainly use it again when we return to beautiful Italy.

April 2003 - We had a very enjoyable week in Italy. Sorrento was a good base to explore locally and beyond. Capri, Pompeii, Positano, Vesuvius etc.
Villa Adriana A was very well presented and clean. The main bed was very comfortable... probably the best nights sleep in ages. The access up to the apartment is about 5 - 10 minutes from Sorrento and particularly narrow if you want to park in the garage. The views are very good, and as you know and the area is nice and quiet. We were pleased with the accommodation.
Thank you for your help... The quality of your web site was a significant factor in us making the booking. i.e. the detail and being able to see the availability online.

October 2002 - My husband and I enjoyed the week in Sorrento very much. Villa Adriana was beautifully situated and we were warmly welcomed and everything was well. At the end of the week we were given a present which we found very friendly.
The area was just as we hoped it would be. The week in Sorrento and the surroundings was a wonderful week which we will not forget.
Unfortunately, Villa Adriana A can not be booked at this time.
We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
