September 2013 - It was the second time my wife and I stayed at Suite Citerea. It is very enjoyable and the views cannot be beat.
SII is the best company of its kind that I have ever dealt with. Once our reservations were made SII could not do enough for us. Very responsive.
Travel tips
- You need to get to know the bus schedules, if you do you cannot go wrong. A very economical way to travel around.
- Every town along that coast has its own charm.
- All the restaurants are great.
- The Isle of Capri is magical.

June 2011 - The view from the suite is simply stunning, the veranda is a delight to linger on and the room is all a couple needs - from Wi-Fi and satellite TV to the efficient kitchenette and spacious bathroom.
The owner, Rosa, is kind and engaging - an excellent English speaker as well.
We highly recommend the Suite to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful and accessible place to explore the Amalfi Coast.
You were wonderful and will come highly recommended.
Travel tips
- There are quite a few steps and hills to contend with so either pack light or carry several bags rather than one or two large ones.
- Avoid purchasing groceries at the "alimentari" in Positano or Amalfi - there are grocery stores located in the smaller villages between major tourist areas where the prices are more affordable.
- There is private parking on the villa grounds, so items in your car are secure but you should be an adept driver.
- The local bus stop is just outside the villa's gate and it is an easy trip to Positano.
- If you want to watch anything in English other than CNN and BBC, take some DVDs with you.
- The Suite will have a bit of coffee, some paper towel, toilet paper - the basics. The owner also provides towels that could be used on the beach but we used them for showering since the others were small.

May 2011 - We had a wonderful time visiting the Amalfi Coast and staying at Suite Citerea for our honeymoon.
Mrs. Rosa [the owner] was very friendly and accommodating. She made us feel at right at home.

Travel tips
- We had a car and enjoyed driving to all the nearby towns and exploring.
- Suite Citerea has a nice roomy place to park your car inside the gate.

October 2010 - YES! What a wonderful piece of property!
Although only a suite, it was more than enough space... after all, most time awake was spent on the balcony looking out at the shimmering ocean and town of Positano!
And Rosa, the manager, was a great help. She spoke English and was a big plus to our stay.
I would recommend this property for sure!

October 2008 - My wife and I enjoyed are stay so much. It was better than we thought it would be.
If you are not coming with your own transportation learn to use the public transportation as soon as possible. It is the easiest thing you can ever do. Also make sure you work out at a gym because there are a lot of stairs to climb.
Suite Citerea has the best views in all of Positano.

October 2008 - We really enjoyed our stay there. Our hosts Edd and Rosa must surely be the most pleasant and accommodating people on the planet assisting us with everything and anything we could possibly need. They became part of our family and made our stay in Positano all the more memorable.
The surroundings and the views were spectacular and our suite was beautifully appointed with everything you would need on a holiday and more.
We have a three year old daughter and the suite was perfectly child safe. I would recommend the suite to couples for a romantic holiday or those just looking for a relaxing break.
The service received from Summer In Italy has been responsive, efficient and professional. Advice given was spot on and often the pleasant staff Andrea, Valentina and Luca would go out of their way to research information thoroughly that was needed. The procurement and payment for the holiday letting was carefree and access to the group was available at all times.
Travel tips
- The bus service located right outside the door of the suite while generally reliable is not frequent from October onwards. Although the suite is only about 1 km out of Positano alternative forms of transport (scooter, car or taxi) would be advisable during this period.
