Fantastic
September 2015 - We love the location and the size of Casa Totina. It is quiet.
We have now stayed there twice and would love to go back.
Summer In Italy is very helpful. I would continue to use the company and have recommended them to our friends.
Travel tips
- Walk the road to Positano and Fornillo Beach. Easier than steps, plus good shops and coffee stops.

November 2014 - If you were to imagine what a villa on the Amalfi Coast would look like, Casa Totina is exactly that. Stunning - beautiful - and we loved every minute.
Summer In Italy run the most helpful travel website I have ever come across. Well done.

June 2014 - We really loved Casa Totina and enjoyed it.
The views, the outdoor spaces, the friendly neighborhood cat and the beach.
Summer In Italy has very good communication, and we could get in touch with the owner easily, which helped. Thank you!
Travel tips
- Lots of restaurants nearby and a nice little grocery down the street.
- Taxi from Sorrento worked well and the boat to Capri was great.

April 2014 - Casa Totina is an excellent property. Angelica and Valeria [the owner and the caretaker] were wonderful hosts.

Very good
August 2013 - Casa Totina is well located and it is quiet and relaxing. The accommodation is good and has most things that you are likely to need.
Travel tips
- For food shopping walk up to the mini-market by the Bar Internazionale on the main coast road - this is cheaper than in town and has most essentials. You can then get the bus down to the grotto with your shopping!

July 2013 - The photos, while accurate, don't do it justice. The outdoor space is huge, the views outstanding, and the kitchen has everything you need. There are three rooms each with its own TV and air conditioning.
This is further up than we usually stay, but we found some great new restaurants. There are many steps but by the third day, we weren't too fazed. Plus, we learned to take the bus! We also liked being in a neighborhood of residents in addition to tourists.
Travel tips
- Restaurants Il Fornillo and Restaurant Next2 are great restaurants near Casa Totina. It's wise to make reservations as they fill up fast. You can do this as you walk by. Sometimes you can get discounts when you mention the caretaker's name.
- We went daily to the alimentari (food store) that isn't too far.

June 2013 - We loved our stay at Casa Totina. We travelled with two of our children and had plenty of room and space.
Although we ate out some nights it was very pleasant and well catered to eat in. The terrace was very inviting whether you had dinner there or simply relaxed. Views were glorious and house was nice.
Casa Totina was perfect and all the service before during and after have been very smooth.
Travel tips
- Most of the restaurants are great. Food is delicious. Cheaper to eat closer to house than the centr of town.

Very good
June 2013 - I really liked Casa Totina. The owner lives upstairs and she was wonderful.
There is a lemon tree on the property so that was nice. We ate out on the terrace several times.
It is over 400 steps to the beach but I was fine with that. The only thing that was missing was a coffee maker. There are 2 espresso makers so we used those but for 4 people that was a little bit of a process.
I thought you did a fabulous job of conveying info etc. Thanks for all your help. :)
Travel tips
- The day trip to Capri is very nice though I would want to stay overnight because we were limited in the amount of time there. I loved Amalfi too.
- Restaurant Mediterraneo was also fun with live music. :)

May 2013 - Loved the apartment and garden. We had a great stay here. It is half way up the hill near the shrine. Quiet and secluded with good access to both beaches. An excellent all round rental - I would recommend it to anyone. The apartment is spacious and would sleep at least 6 if in France!
Positano is fab by far the best place to stay on the Amalfi coast with access by boat to Amalfi and Sorrento. We did one trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius by car - but could have used the trains.
The were many steps to the sea but good to walk off the excellent food.
Travel tips
- Italian roads are not for the tentative driver.
- There is a food store a bit up the hill which which sells wine and most foods.
- Fiano d'Avellino and Lacryma Christi are lovely wines!
- The restaurant between the beaches was excellent.
