August 2009 - We enjoyed our stay very much.
Casa Serena is a wonderful place to relax.
We are very pleased to tell you, that we are surprised about the kindness we met. Before we went to Italy this year, we had only been to Venice, and that was not a pleasant experience. So it was with a lot of bad feelings that we decided to return to Italy. So we are very pleased to tell you, that Summer In Italy has made a difference, you and the lady at the residence who really tried, and succeeded, to made our stay pleasant. And not to forget the people in the village, who also were very kind.
“We are honored and flattered, Susanne! In Italy as anywhere else in the world there are different kinds of people, of course. In general, Italians are mostly welcoming, generous and spontaneous. I am sure that the next time you are back you will have another great experience!!„
Travel tips
- There is rather long way to go, if you want to shop in a large supermarket (30 min), but it is big, so it does not really matters.
- If you are willing to drive a bit, go to Firenze, BUT do not buy ice cream without checking the price, it can be very expensive. Go to the Outlet village only 60 min. away, that is absolutely a must.

June 2007 - My friends and I loved staying at Casa Serena. After a hard day sightseeing, it was great to get back to the peace and quiet of the villa.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even bought me a cake for my 40th birthday celebrations!
The villa was clean and comfortably furnished and adequate for eight people.
The people living in the local village were very friendly.
You gave me good advice, were very helpful and efficient
Travel tips
- On your first day of arrival, try to arrive during daylight, as it is very difficult to find at night.
- On Wednesday's the local supermarkets are only open during the morning.
- There is a lovely restaurant called "Quarto di Luna" in Pieve A Presciano, Pergine Valdarno close by. It's in the direction of Arezzo.

September 2006 - It was even better than we expected.
We were surprised to find no coffee cups and would have brought our own had we known. Other than that, everything was lovely.
I found your company on the web while I was looking for rental property. Everything was very organized and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Summer in Italy to my friends and we are looking forward to our next trip to Tuscany.
“Just a quick note about equipment at the villas, valid for Casa Serena and in general for all villas: if you are missing something, please do ask for it! While the villas are generally well-equipped, at times specific items might be missing. Do feel free to ask the owners to provide items that you might need, or do call our staff at the dedicated 24/7 local number that you are provided when you book your villa. We are there for you!„
Travel tips
- Remember to stop for groceries if you arrive on Saturday evening. We forgot and had a very hard time on Sunday trying to find an open store. Fortunately, when we arrived there was a lovely assortment of bread and cheese and sweets and wine that kept us on our feet!

September 2006 - Casa Serena is a lovely property in beautiful part of the countryside. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to our friends.
The only slight drawback we experienced was that the kitchen was a bit small - given that there were 6 adults staying there for the week.
'Summer in Italy' are really helpful and friendly. The pictures and descriptions on the website are accurate.

June 2005 - We loved Casa Serena.
The people in the town were very friendly and tolerant of Americans with a very limited Italian vocabulary.
The gift of wine and breakfast cake made us very welcome and pampered.
Summer In Italy provided the right amount of attention. I appreciated the fact I could get someone when I needed advice or assistance.
I feel friendly with your agents, and will miss talking with them.
“We really hope to welcome you again in beautiful Italy! :-)„

May 2005 - Casa Serena was very well kept, clean, very spacious.
We had everything we needed for our stay. The availability of the clothes washer was great! The people of Badia Agnano were very nice and we enjoyed our strolls down to the village.
Fabio [the caretaker] left us some flyers for events and restaurants close by which were very good to go to.
Unfortunately, Casa Renza E can not be booked at this time.
We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
