September 2009 - We loved Casa Edvige - it's quiet and absolutely lovely.
It was very clean when we arrived and the only thing I'd say that we were disappointed about was that the sleeper couch could have been of better quality, we had 2 children with us so seating wasn't an issue - for 4 adults though it would have been a bit tricky.
Overall though we absolutely loved it!
Summerinitaly offered great organisation and preparation for our trip. We had an awesome time!
Thank you!
Travel tips
- Be prepared to walk! The villa is on a cliff face, you'll build up a sweat walking to the beach... we counted 300 steps to... we all needed showers by the time we got back to the villa! It's good for the legs though!
- Walking to the main road is easier, you'll have no problem with your luggage, however, have the mind set that you will be walking and it will be steep!

June 2009 - We loved our stay...
The owner and his wife were always there to lend a helping hand. The town of Praiano is the perfect spot to stay on the coast. Beautiful beach and close to all...
The fist morning I opend my door to my view, I was over the rainbow...
Thanks for the great stay!
Summer in Italy is the best... We will use you again...

June 2008 - Casa Edvige upon arrival was well above our expectations. The pictures on the website don't do it justice.
Signor Pasquale and his wife [the owners] were very nice to us, particularly when we were departing and got caught in the rain with our luggage and 3 kids.
Very nice and reasonable priced flat for Praiano and the Amalfi Coast.
The Summer In Italy staff were great. I liked the fact that if any problems arose there was a 24-hour number to call to have a representative act as liaison between client and landlord. We didn't need it but nice to know it was available.
Travel tips
- No matter how much you read, if you've not been to the Amalfi you're not prepared for all the stairs, particularly if your travelling with children. Pack lightly if possible because you will be carrying everything you bring up and down a lot of stairs.
Unfortunately, Casa Edvige can not be booked at this time.
We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
