September 2014 - We enjoyed our visit very much (too short!).

We were quite aware that there are many steps in the area and these were not a problem. My husband and I have walked in the Mountains for years (1963 was the first visit) and although advancing years prevent us from continuing, I can still manage the steps in the villages!

We were lucky to have a prime seat for the firework display in Atrani - couldn't have been better organized!

Thank you, we hope to use Summer In Italy again in the near future. You have been so friendly and approachable throughout.

Travel tips

  • Take the Sita bus up to Pogerola from Amalfi for a bit of peace and quiet!
  • Restaurants and bars in Atrani are great and again more peaceful than the ones in Amalfi!
  • Thanks to Lucibello taxi for being prompt, efficient and friendly.

September 2013 - The main selling point of Casa Cira is undoubtably the incredible views of the mountains, coastline, town and beach from all the main rooms and terrace. It was difficult to pass a window without being drawn to them!

The apartment was very clean and the kitchen and bathroom were both well appointed. All rooms were large and airy with more than enough storage.

Key collection was easy and Maria, who met us on arrival, was very helpful and informative.

We found Summer in Italy on the internet. Having now dealt with them, I would have no hesitation in recommending them. From the time of booking they were efficient, informative and always available. When needed, they always responded immediately and were incredibly helpful. A very professional but personal, service - we would certainly use them again.

Travel tips

  • As is probably the case with most properties in Atrani, access was via several flights of steps, so for anyone with mobility difficulties this could be a problem.
  • Amalfi was just a 10 - 15 minutes walk away along a traffic free path which ran from near the apartment. Amalfi is the hub for local bus and boat services and it is easy to visit other places in the area from here.
  • Wifi is easily accessible in the cafe bars in Atrani. The staff in Bar Birecto were particularly friendly.
  • Atrani has a range of shops including a butchers, greengrocer, general stores, newsagent and several restaurants and cafe bars.

September 2013 - We had a great time. Casa Cira is in an excellent location, only a few minutes walk from Amalfi village centre, but in the next village, Atrani, so quieter.

It had a great little terrace on which to sit and take in the view over the beach.

September 2011 - We definitely enjoyed Casa Cira. Especially the terrace and the view. Even all the stairs up to the apartment were easier to climb than we were afraid of.

Very good service and information.Will not hesitate to book through Summer in Italy again.

Travel tips

  • We recommend the small restaurants in Atrani square. They are much cheaper than in neighbouring towns and the food was very good.
  • When visiting Amalfi we recommend the upper, small "street" and stairs. Avoid the main road!!
