May 2014 - Casa Caterina is an absolutely beautiful place to spend a week.

The apartment is nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and happy to offer any advice on the area.

Very good service, I would happily book through you again.

September 2012 - Casa Caterina was just lovely, very clean and it has everything you need, especially very effective air conditioning.

The staff who manage the apartment were very friendly and obliging. A member of staff got up at 5 am so that we could use the lift (and not the steps) when we were leaving.

This was our first visit to Positano - we will certainly be returning and will hopefully stay in the apartment again. I have already recommended it to my friends!

June 2012 - We enjoyed it very much. The patio was very peaceful and relaxing. The people that owned it were helpful and friendly. I recommend Casa Caterina.

Beautiful patio. Part of the view is blocked by the roof in front of the patio. Still it is a nice view of the sea. The bath is a bit small, but sufficient.

It was a good experience and we would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for your help.

September 2009 - We had a very pleasant stay at Casa Caterina, really comfortable and private spot. The owner couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.

I would recommend this apartment to any couple with a good fitness level. Unfortunately the steep stairs and the outdoor space aren't child friendly. Still a beautiful place to spend a wonderful holiday.

Did a Google search and came across your site, it was user friendly, had a large portfolio of properties. My experience has been fantastic, thanks you all very much for your help.

May 2008 - My girlfriend and I were really happy with this place... the apartment on its whole is quite simple but the view and location is great.

It was nice that the apartment is located higher up on the hill which forced us to walk and explore Positano... exhausting but totally worth it !! ;-)

Best part about Casa Caterina were the beautiful lemon trees outside on the terrace... we spent most of our time under them!! ;-)

May 2007 - Loved it!! The patio under the lemon trees was bello. I am an artist so the central location in town was perfect to go anywhere.

As always in the Amalfi Coast bring your calf muscles. Lots of steps.

Very clean, quiet, and private. The owners are very helpful. My wife and I highly recommend.

July 2006 - Really enjoyed our stay in the Casa Caterina, the whole family [the owners] were really helpful.

The garden was so peaceful and the location very handy for getting on the local bus back from the square so we didn't have to walk up all the hills!

I have been very impressed by Summer In Italy and I will be using you again in future.

August 2005 - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Caterina.

It was exactly as you described. We were warned not to expect toilet rolls or cleaning equipment, so it came as no surprise. Shop close by was very handy and people so pleasant. It would have been nice to have had a kettle, instead of boiling water for tea and coffee in a saucepan.

The apartment was clean and though basic, was exactly what we were looking for. Lovely views, though obscured somewhat by the roof in front. Out of town away from the bustle, but close enough to enjoy the stroll down.

The owner's brother was living in the apartment nextdoor and used our garden for access to the hotel, but he provided us with a bowl of freshly-picked figs, so no complaints!

We had a wonderful time and plan a return to the same place. I'm sure Casa Caterina or the hotel will be our first choice and will recommend your company to anybody.

July 2005 - We enjoyed our stay, most of the staff in the accompanying hotel were very helpful.

Positano is beautiful but very hilly. We were not told about the internal Positano bus, which we discovered ourselves on the third night.

We found the airconditioning was only adequate, we would have preferred one with a booster.

I have no complaints with Summer in Italy. The villa was as described and the booking process simple and easy to understand. The directions to the villa were perfect. Thank you.

May 2005 - We enjoyed Casa Caterina. The location was perfect for getting to the center and the regional bus routes, but far enough away from both for quiet relaxation.

The yard, though we were initially disappointed to learn it was shared, though infrequently used by the neighbor, has a perfect balance between shade and sun-exposure and smells wonderful.

October 2004 - Casa Caterina is in a splendid location, but, as with most lodging in Positano, climbing up and down steps to get around might become tiring. We found several satisfactory restaurants and a couple well-stocked markets in the immediate area.

The villa was comfortable and fairly quiet; the staff of the adjoining hotel speak English and were helpful. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

July 2004 - Wonderful place and wonderful location, fabulous view whilst being close to the centre of town (via many steps).

The accomodation was great and the view was superb and we enjoyed having a quiet drink on the balcony.

June 2004 - Casa Caterina was very nice. The outdoor terrace was beautiful - the smells of the lemon trees and aromatic orange flowers will be in my memory for a long time.

The location - close to the Bar Internazionale - is ideal for transportation and not too close to the bustle of the beach and commercial center.

The villa was very modern and comfortable. Very nice.

June 2004 - Casa Caterina is a lovely little apartment in a good position with a nice outdoor terrace.

It's clean and has all the neccesities. The owner is friendly and helpful and is on hand to deal with any problems. One thing to be aware of is that it is attached to a hotel and next door to another apartment so it's not very private and can be a little bit noisy. Also, during a two week stay you will not get clean sheets, towels or any cleaning without an extra cleaning charge. But this is a good choice if you're looking for somewhere fairly basic and reasonably affordable in Positano and is a good base for exploring the Amalfi Coast.

Service from Summer in Italy was excellent and I would definately book with you again. I felt that I was a valued customer and had personal attention, which was fantastic! We enjoyed our stay very much.

May 2004 - We just got back from a week at Casa Caterina and had a great time. The terrace is huge, with built in benches, overhanging lemmon trees, and a great view of the ocean.

The location is good, an easy 5 minute walk down from the main bus stop. There are grocery stores within a 5 minute walk, lots of restaurants and shops too. It's a 10-15 min walk down to the beach, lots of cool shops and bars along the way to pop your head into.

We did day trips to Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples - the SITA bus worked great and the bus stop is just up the road.

I would come back again.

April 2004 - We loved Casa Caterina. The breath-taking views of the sea, Positano, and Montepertuso are absolutely magnificent. The apartment is well located, well appointed, and was delivered in pristine condition.

Casa Caterina was a wonderful and relaxing experience. We hope to return and will highly recommend it to friends and colleagues traveling to the Amalfi coast.
