November 2008 - It was an absolutely wonderful place to stay.

The location close to Bar Internazionale was great. Two excellent neighborhood restaurants just steps away. Easy access to the bus or you could do a beautiful walk to the beach and shopping areas either along the switchbacks or the steps.

The ownership family was extremely hospitable and available for questions to ensure an excellent stay.

October 2008 - We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Antonietta. It was a beautiful spot and we really did not want to leave.

We especially liked the location. It was far enough away from the tourist shops yet close enough to walk to groceries, restaurants, anywhere. We even walked to Montepertuso one day. And the neighbors were very nice.

I was nervous booking online - I had never booked a rental for an apartment overseas before. Your site looked the best of all the sites I had viewed. It felt safe and secure and I felt confident using it. And it has proved to be the case. Your staff is helpful and I would book through you again.

September 2007 - We loved our stay at Casa Antonietta. For us, the location was perfect. It is quiet, private and away from the tourist throngs.

The house is very comfortable and quite large. The bedroom and bed are very comfortable, the living room is spacious and the kitchen and bathroom are clean and adequate.

We especially loved the terrace. It is private and the view is wonderful. We spent a lot of time there.

The owners were very pleasant and helpful and would have been easy to contact in case of a problem. We had no problems, except that we were sad to leave!

The location is ideal for catching either the SITA or the local buses and we really enjoyed starting and ending our days at the Bar Internazionale, down the steps.

October 2006 - Overall a great place to stay. Location was especially great if you prefer to be away from the many tourists of Positano (location could be viewed as a negative if you want to be close to the beach - it was about 900 steps up from the water - or deeper in the tourist mix).

Casa Antonietta was very clean, very spacious, very comfortable. Kitchen had more than enough equipment to cook full meals.

Owner was extremely nice and helpful as was Summer in Italy. Great Service which I would not hesitate to use again.

September 2006 - We enjoyed Casa Antonietta very much, my wife and I loved the apartment and the location. It was very convenient to all public transportation.

We found the place very clean with all the convenience necessary for our short stay (hair dryer, iron, wash machine etc.). The beds were very comfortable but most of all we loved the rustic look and the charm of Casa Antonietta.

My wife continues to talk about the time we spent on the terrazzo drinking either wine at night or caffe latte in the morning before our journey each day. She particularly remembers the wonderful aroma of fresh pastries being prepared by Bar Internazionale conveniently located at the end of the steps near the bus stops.

It was a pleasant and wonderful experience we will remember forever.

Thank you to the people of Summer in Italy, the place looked and was exactly as advertised.

June 2006 - Having stayed twice at Casa Antonietta, most recently with another couple, I highly recommend it for adults seeking a quiet, authentic corner of Positano.

It works well for up to four people, with privacy in accessing the bathroom and the deck area without disturbing others.

It is a great place to "chill out". The house remains nicely cool even when it is hot outside.

Not luxurious, but everything is clean and in good working order.

Treat yourself to bus tickets for the Positano city bus and catch it nearby.

You can enjoy being away from the busy (and often noisy) heart of town, and yet have easy access to all you want to see and do.

Summer in Italy gets my highest praise. I was treated very respectfully, all enquiries were answered accurately and promptly, and every effort was made to assist me in having a successful stay in Positano. Many thanks!

May 2006 - We found Casa Antonietta a real gem. It is in a great spot.

We enjoyed the terrace with a perfect view of Positano and the ocean.

A bonus is Cafe Internazionale, perfectly located at the bottom of the stairs where we met many locals and tourists.

Everything worked very well.

July 2005 - We LOVED Casa Antonietta! We were seeking a REAL LOCAL neighborhood to spend the week in and that is exactly what we got!

There was plenty of hot water in the shower, the kitchen had all we required and the washing machine was an added bonus.

We were greeted by the owner as soon as we arrived and he was most helpful! They own a shop near the beach so always easy to find them if we needed anything ot had questions/

The view was amazing from the patio/sun deck, and the neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. Every evening the moon would shine over the sea and it was a breathtaking view from our patio!

The 90 stairs to get up to the casa were a work out, but one which we enjoyed after dining on the all the yummy cuisine.

You all were THE BEST! We could not have been more pleased!

June 2005 - Casa Antonietta, was perfect! It was everything you could ask for, if you want a relaxing holiday.

On arrival the owner was extremely helpful. He offered advice about excursions we wanted to take and recommended a fantastic restaurant with the most amazing view!!! He was also contactable through the week at any time if we had any problems with anything, (but we didn't!)

The terrace has to be mentioned - it is spacious and comfortable and to be honest that is where we spent most of our time! We are actually quite suprised by how much of our holiday we spent on that terrace because it was so great.

Everything was very clean and all appliances were in good working order and we had everything we wanted. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and the building stayed cool through the hot days.

Bar Internazionale sells good ice cream which was well deserved each day after walking up all those steps!!

There really is not a bad word to be said about Casa Antonietta. We have already told all our friends and family about it and are considering returning next summer!

The website was really easy to navigate and use. The staff were very helpful throughout the whole process, and were at the end of the telephone when we contacted them in Italy. We have already recommended Summer In Italy to all of our friends and family and we would definitely go through the company again. Many thanks for a wonderful relaxing holiday, from Hannah and Zoe.

May 2005 - Casa Antonietta was a delight. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was fine, there was masses of room and lots of cupboard space.

We were only 2, but apart from the double bed there were 2 other beds and a sofabed.

The bathroom was pretty basic, but everything worked OK.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the terrace was wonderful!

I thought Summer in Italy were brilliant! We spent a month in Italy going to Florence, then Rome, then Positano, then Venice, then Pisa and home. All self-catering appartments were booked through different companies - all were good, but you were undoubtedly the best. Your 24/7 phone line gives a real sense of security; your information was extremely good ; your newsletters were fun and informative; altogether a super set-up. I shall have no hesitation to recommend you to friends. Wish you covered more of Italy! A very big thank you to all of you. We had a wonderful time.

May 2005 - I loved my stay at Casa Antonietta and would stay there again in a minute!

The location was great and right next to a bus stop that brought you down to the beach and all the shops.

Casa Antonietta was also nice because you could get all your fruits, meats and anything else you needed right at the bottom of the steps where you are staying. Everyone there was so helpful!

I found Summer In Italy on line and they were great! They answered any question I had right away and sent me the info for Casa Antonietta with all the directions that was very helpful! My whole experience in Italy was fabulous and can't wait to go back to Positano!

October 2004 - My husband and I LOVED Casa Antoinetta! We were so sad to be leaving on our last day...Our two dogs were also in love with the beautiful little garden, sunny terrace and sea view!! Mr Giambatista was also a sweet man... I only wish we had seen more of him during our stay..

Although the stairs were a little bit of a hike, we were really happy sitting up amongst the locals. We enjoyed the local grocery below us, as well as the fresh produce stand, bar, butcher, post office,assorted shops and bus stop... all just at the foot of the house.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location in all of Positano!!!!!! Thank you for opening your home to us!! We will be back as soon as we can get there!!! And, we are recommending it to ALL of our friends!

October 2004 - We loved our stay in Casa Antonietta. It was not as luxurious as some of the Positano villas we have stayed in in the past, but we were suprised by how comfortable the bed was. We also loved the garden with its fragrant flowers. We would sit on the terrace at night and the fragrance would waft up to us, it was heavenly!

We liked the neighborhood, the neighbors were friendly and the view of the church lovely.

We were treated to a noisy but fun soccer game every evening by the local boys.

We come to Positano every year, but this is our first booking with Summer in Italy. We found it a very easy and simple process and will probably book again with you.

September 2004 - Casa Antonietta is a charming property in a beautiful location, we had a brilliant time and really enjoyed our stay.

If you're not feeling up to the walk down to/back up from the seafront, there are lots of internal buses made it easy to get around in no time. Hope to go back soon!

The apartment was very convenient and peaceful, with excellent sunbathing.

June 2004 - Casa Antonietta is a nice quiet retreat. We truly enjoyed our 1 week stay and it was convenient for day trips to other area sites. It had a beatiful view and terrace!

Although there are many stairs in Positano (be prepared!), there was a bus stop nearby to make the descent/ascent into the main town easier.

Everyone was very friendly and the owner was very helpful and accessible for any problems or concerns (we had none).

We had a wonderful week in Casa Antonietta and Positano.

Summer in Italy did a great job! The company is very professional and helpful. They were willing to work out any problems, were flexible and were very prompt to answer any concerns or questions. I will definitely go through Summer in Italy for our next Italy trip and say good-bye to hotels.

The location is really quiet and you are staying among the Italian residents of Positano.

June 2003 - I would be very happy to give you a "report" on Casa Antonietta and our 2-week stay in June.

In short, everything lived up to our expectations and in many ways was better than we imagined. We found the descriptions and photographs on your website gave us a very realistic view of what to expect and we were not disappointed. As you will know, we had temperatures of over 30 degrees and high humidity but the house was always beautifully cool. The situation was quiet and everything very traditionally Italian and we really have enjoyed our stay in Positano.

We also had the pleasure of meeting the kind owner and his family and he also recommended the nearby restaurant Constantino where we were several times made very welcome by the owner and had wonderful Italian food. The view was terrific and everyone most friendly.

In my opinion it is a very great advantage to book accommodation via a good agency such as Summer in Italy. This gives us, the customer, a feeling of trust and security.

I do not know at this stage when we will return to Italy, but when we do, I will certainly use your services again.

June 2003 - We are back after a very nice vacation. Our stay in Positano was very nice.

The main Positano bus stop, coming from Sorrento, could not be more convenient for someone arriving by bus. I went into the Bar Internazionale, bought an Italian telephone card, called the gentleman who shows the Casa Antonietta, and he came immediately. He speaks excellent English and was very friendly and accommodating. The climb up the steps to the house is a little tiring (we had come all the way from Rome) with luggage; one could leave any surplus baggage at the Bar and make a second, easier trip.

The house is in a very quiet area and the view of the sea is splendid. One doesn't see much of the town from the terrace but the sea view is really great. One can buy all necessary food within easy walking distance. It is best to buy a local bus ticket at the Bar (their English is pretty good and they know what you want) to go into Positano town center or to the beach. We caught a bus for Amalfi for a day of shopping and site seeing and the bus stop at Bar Internazionale is like being delivered right to your door--very easy.

The weather was hot when we were there but the thick walls of the house and sitting as it does up where it gets a breeze made it a pleasure just to hang out there and on pretty terrace.

I have stayed in hotels in the past in Positano and wish now I had known of the Casa Antonietta. It is a great place to stay for the price. Don't be intimidated, everything went very smoothly and the owners are extremely solicitous of ones comfort during the stay. I highly recommend this property.

I liked how we were treated, the house, and, of course, I can't say enough how much I like Italy. In a word, the trip was, magnifico!

March 2003 - We have only wonderful things to say about Casa Antonietta, whose view of the coast couldn't be better and whose touches of home -- fresh flowers, all the right cooking spices, etc. -- really made it a great place to stay.

It's close to the market and bar and pay telephone, etc., and the terrace is a delight. We'd happily return. Hope that others will enjoy Casa Antonietta too.
